Definitely try it!!!!!My injury is getting better, corresponding to when I began this supplement. I am going to buy another bottle and continue it! I would try this for a month or two and see if it builds or repairs cartilage as I think it's doing for me! My doc told me that a huge number of Europeans over 50 use this consistently and have for years. It's only just now coming into use her in the US. 5Give this some time to take effect.....a good product.A friend recommended this product for arthritis. Told me to take it for at least 3 months before making a decision on continuing taking it. I am approaching the end of 3 months now and I would have to say that this really DOES make a difference. Just ordered some more. I take the usual sort of supplements for arthritis (fish oil, glucosamine, and a few more. I have never noticed much change with those and have taken them for a long time. My Dr. prescribed a med for the arthritis which worked wonderfully well but had to be discontinued after less than a week as it caused an alarming rise in my blood pressure. This avocado/soy product does not do anything bad but does seem to lessen the annoying pain of the arthritis.I am giving it 4 stars instead of five only because it did take 3 months before I noticed its effects. However, it was worth the wait. 4Good StuffI read about Avocado Soy Unsaponifiables on the Mayo Clinic website. Although not used much in the States, evidently this product is used widely in Europe and has been reported to actually reverse the effects of osteo arthritis. I'm on my second bottle and feeling pretty good. I intend to keep on using Arthrogen and am happy to know that it is a product produced in the USA. 5Helped with osteoarthritis hip pain.I have been using this product since October. I have osteoarthritis in my hip, and before I started Arthrocen, I was using OTC pain relievers (Advil, or a combo of Aspirin and Tylenol) on an almost daily basis. It hurt to stand or sit for any length of time, and I was starting to favor one leg when I walked. I wanted to try other options for pain relief, and didn't want a steroid injection. After reading about avocado soy unsaponifiables on the Mayo Clinic's website, I found the Arthrocen product on Amazon. It appeared to be a close match to the product the Mayo was talking about, so I decided to try it. After I started taking Arthrocen, I have only needed OTC pain relievers on an occasional basis, and generally for pain not related to my hip arthritis (like when I kink out my back overdoing yard work). My hip pain is occasional and minimal. I can walk comfortably. I haven't noticed any unpleasant side effects from taking Arthrocen. 54 months and it's working!!!I bought my first bottle of this product about 4 months ago. After taking one capsule a day for about 2 months I realized that I no longer had to take the Aleve I had been taking twice a day. I don't know yet is this Arthrogen is halting the progression of my arthritis, but I do know it has almost completely alleviated the pain I had. I am 84 years old and will definitely continue to use this product. 5Arthrocen works as described.I have been taking Arthrocen for 2 weeks and notice a significant decrease in hip pain. The Mayo clinic web site indicated Unsaponifiables for people with joint pain, so I decided to give it a try. In my 40's my hip got increasingly sore. I'm tall and perhaps 10 lbs. overweight, I walk and stand a lot at work. Pain in my low back and hip on right side got progressively worse over several years. Pain was interfering with my work day and sleep. I was going to the chiropractor 4 times per month and was doing a twice daily stretching routine recommended by him. Doing so reduced pain, but I still needed more relief. I stopped going to the chiropractor last December, because I didn't feel like that was helping, but my stretching routine was, so I kept up with that. Taking one Arthrocen in the morning for the last two weeks (no more Aleve) has reduced hip pain significantly. I still have low back pain on right, but somewhat less now. It's only been two weeks so I hope to continue seeing improvement. 5Believe what you read about this productI bought this for my 92 year old aunt, who has documented osteoarthritis of the hips and knees. She was always in pain so after reading that doctors in Europe prescribe this product to improve symptoms of pain, I ordered a bottle for her. After 2 months the improvement was obvious to me. She complained much less of pain and stopped buying topical pain relievers like patches. Today I ordered the third bottle of this supplement because it has truly worked for her. 5Works like magic...with scientific research to back it up.I believe that this compound has essentially eliminated my knee pain. I have been taking Osteo Bi-flex for quite some time for joint pain--I am 63. The story behind the Osteo-B is that I had been complaining to my wife about pain and she recommended I try it. Within three days I experienced a significant, noticeable improvement. When I finished the bottle I stopped taking it and after three days I felt like someone had beaten me with a bag of oranges! Needless to say that I got back on it in a hurry.About four months ago I began experiencing pain in my right knee. I had not experienced an injury and could find no reason for the pain, which was aggravated by running. My doctor suggested an injection, which I declined. I then went to a chiropractor and was put through a regimen of exercise and stretching--no joy. I then read a scientific study that had evaluated a series of treatments for arthritic pain. Glucosamine/Chondrotin (Osteo Bi-flex) was indicated for general joint relief, but not knee pain. The supplement they recommended for knee pain was Avocado/Soybean Unsaponifiables. When I sought this out I came across the Arthocen 300 Joint Health product AND IT HAS WORKED LIKE MAGIC! I do not know why it targets the knee, and I do not think medical science does either, but it just works. I can run without pain and am a happy camper. 5But if this product really did make my knees feel this much better in only 4 weeks it's unbelievable - too good ...Too soon to tell. On the other hand I'm cautious, these problems do come and go - somewhat. Maybe now I'm just at a good point? If this product is the reason I feel so much better I'd give it 10 stars! Really - within two weeks of starting this the pain in my knees is almost gone. The Dr told me I was ready for knee replacement - I'm 70. However, it hasn't helped my back much. 4I was skeptical, but this actually works for meI'm pretty wary of supplements in general, but my doctor suggested that I try this for the arthritis in my hands. It has made a big difference in the pain and stiffness in my hands. It is well worth the money. 5
