Product worksGreat for hair & Nails 5Yes! It works!! :DThis product is pretty great. It contains a unique blend of ingredients that is unmatched by other similar products, and seems to be effective in the five months I've been using it. I did cut the dosage in half, however, as using the full dosage was overwhelming to my system. I have an autoimmune disease, so this might not be the case for the peeps who don't have a similar disorder. Thank you, DermaSafe!UPDATE 4/17/18: When I began using this product I'd stopped putting any sort of heat on my hair, and was letting it dry into its naturally wild and curly state. Two weeks ago, after a seven-month heat break and use of this product, I started blow drying it again. Oh. My. Goodness. My hair has never been more sleek and stunning - I get so many compliments on it, all over the place! And it is growing in thick. It looks amazing. I believe it helps my hair grow faster and my fingernails are stronger since I started using Biotin 5000. I will order again and again. 5Bad taste; may be helping a little bit with nailsMy daughter & I shared a bottle and did not notice any big improvement in hair (hers) or nails (mine). There may have been some incremental improvements in my nails, but it is a bit too soon to be sure. However, unlike some reviewers, there were also no bad effects or worsening of our hair/nails. The main problem with this product is the large size of the pills and the horrible taste. I am just fine with most pills (even the prenatals, back in the day) but I had a really hard time getting these down and my daughter also noted the "bad after taste." I think If they were coated it would make all the difference. I read the ingredients this morning, as I consider re-ordering or finding a new product & saw that this one has a TON of extra stuff in it including BOVINE (cow) COLLAGEN. Ick! So if you are vegetarian/vegan, stay away. I may re-order simply because I think MAYBE there was a little improvement in my nails and at least this supplement made neither of us ill (unlike others I've read reviews of, or even this one which has troubled some people, I imagine different people have different sensitivities).
