Customer Reviews

You know right away it's perfect for most people. That was the impression I got when I opened the package from Amazon. The size is good. Each pill compartment will fit all but the heaviest pill taker. For example a compartment will take about 4 big omega fish pills along with 3-4 smaller pills. That does me well. Everything is sturdy and the lids open without too much effort. The boxes fit in the tray snugly so you won't have boxes falling out easily everywhere. The color coding and bold printing of each day make it easy to grab the box you want. This is just about the most well designed product I've ever reviewed on Amazon. Simple and realistic. The only thing you can't get around is the size of the pill compartments. It's simply a judgement call. What's too big, what's too small? If you approach what I take you'll be at the outer limits. Careful. It's about a 1 inch cube. I bought and used a digital caliper on it so that's very close. You could make one out of paper and scissors and a spot of glue. :-) 5Recommended!I've used these for just over a year now and while they do their job well and are the perfect size for my vitamins, the lids could use some improvements. The lids are thin and flimsy but it took severally months before one actually separated. After about 8 months, I have a few more separated or seperating. Still functional though.I line up all open containers without the lids and toss in all my vitamins. Takes me less than five minutes to organize my supplements for the week. I really do love this and recommend it anytime someone asks for a weekly organizer. 4Poorly Designed, Poorly Made and Incredibly Hard To Reload & Carry !!!UPDATE: Tried these again 2017/05/20 when my trusty dusty regular med. tray finally began to fail. The experience was even worse than my original report. B-H tray (as all similar center-hinged square trays) was downright painful to load, took three times longer than my old straight tray (with all lids opening on 1, same side), though narrower than regular style trays B-H was harder to store in handy space where it would not knock over easy, fitting the square thicker daily dose boxes in pockets or bags was much more difficult-to-impossible vs my old large 1'' x 1.25'' x 5.25'' straight bins, and finally, placing these in pants pockets can become painful. Whether you have hand dysfunctions or can play concert piano avoid these poorly designed misfits.Great idea but the clear lids do NOT remove easily for refilling (as the advertising copy and some customers lead you to believe). Trying to load 4 cups in Each of the 2-sided (lids are center-hinged and opposed) individual 7 Daily Modules is an incredibly tedious process that is painful and slow for someone with arthritis or other dexterity challenge. Plastic molding quality (and subsequent stubborn, flimsy, breakable parts) seems to be another major weak point for this product, too.I strongly recommend customers with any motor skill or sight challenges avoid this product. There are plenty of other choices that are better made and immensely easier/quicker/surer to reload. 1Great but...I really like this! I take about 20 pills various sizes each day of vitamins, medications, and supplements. Hold them great. My only concern is the strength of the hinges on the lids. So far so good but I can see them breaking down the road. A minor set back for something that can do what I need to. 4Wears out quicklyIt broke. I purchased this after having a transplant and needing to take many medications each day. I had a pill organizer that had a slider built into it, which you could slide out for each of the 4 doses. I had and used it for 10 years+ but the slider eventually wore down and slid out too easily. It also did not hold all the meds I needed to take each time. After getting this pill organizer, right away, I noticed it was harder to fill with my medications. It was a bit cumbersome to open each of the days. Two on one side of each day. The doors were stiff at first. Well, very quickly they were not stiff and the doors now just pop open. The wear took less than a year to make it entirely useless. I have since purchased a few others. So, if you need to use it daily and for a long period of time, I'd keep looking. 3Bad qualityI purchased this product and should have listened to the other peoples reviews. This product does not last. My first month of using it, one compartment cracked and the top would not stay closed on another. I had to tape the one side and tape the top closed on the other. After a couple months, the others cracked as well and two other tops would not stay closed. I recently contacted the company to ask for a replacement, since I purchased two others in the past, totaling three, and only asking a replacement of one. They said they could not give me a replacement at this time since the order was past 30 days. I completely understand, but expected a better response from them. Having purchased three and all three broke I assumed they would want to keep a loyal customer and replace one, not all three. I can say I will never purchase from this company again. I would advise others to be aware of the quality of this product, for the quality is subpar. 1Awesome Organizing Tool for Simplifying Your RoutineCouple one of these with a good timer and you've taken the worry out of your medication schedule. The more complicated your schedule, the more you'll appreciate these handy organizers. There are 4 compartments in each box labeled Morning, Noon, Evening, and Bedtime. Each DAY box is clearly and largely labeled with the full day (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc.) AND Color Coded to make everything easier. My hubby has to take a specific and varying schedule of AM and PM medicines (and supplements) on a daily basis & this organizer makes it all SOOO much easier. He has a MWF schedule and a different one for the rest of the week.Once a week, I take about 15 minutes to fill each compartment with the right AM and PM meds and then we FORGET ABOUT IT till the timer sounds twice a day. To make this easier, I've printed a label that's taped to the BOTTOM of the yellow tray that holds these 7 compartmentalized boxes. This label lists AM MEDS and PM MEDS by day (name of medicine, #pills or mg dosage, etc.) This helps me double-check for accuracy as I fill.I then arrange the boxes by day & set the tray up on its end (so the days are listed vertically--I've posted a couple of photos). This saves cabinet space & makes it easy to retrieve the boxes. I keep the current day on top. When the timer sounds at 9 AM and again at 5 PM, we just dump that day's AM or PM pills into a Dixie cup, he takes them & we're FINISHED! No fishing for bottles or trying to remember how much of what on which day. And no worrying about whether he forgot to take something or took too much or too little of anything. If you take supplements, these are terrific, too. The compartments are surprisingly roomy. We use these daily & I don't know what I'd do without them; highly recommended for function and quality! 5Newest version idealFor my needs, this newest version of the 7Pack Pill Organizer is ideal. The organizer consists of a long storage tray that holds 7 boxes one for each day of the week. These daily boxes measure 2 inches tall by 2 inches wide by 1 inch deep. Each daily box is a different color, labeled by a day of the week, and divided into 4 smaller boxes. Each smaller box has its own individual, see-through lid. The lids are labeled: Morning, Noon, Evening, and Bedtime so that you can separate your pills by the time of day you re supposed to take them. These smaller boxes are large enough to suit virtually everyone. I take 9 pills a day, 3 of them large, and all 9 fit easily into each one of the 4 smaller boxes, with some space left over. Although you can sort the pills according to the time of day you take them, some people won t find this necessary. None of my pills has to be taken at a particular time, so I put a whole days supply into each small box. This means I can put 4 days worth of pills into each of the 7 daily boxes, which allows me to fill the organizer with a month s worth of pills at one filling. The pills are just as easy to get out of the small boxes as they are to put in, and the lids on the smaller boxes snap firmly shut when you close them. Another good feature of this organizer is that when you travel, you can take along as few or as many of the daily boxes as you need, and leave the rest at home. They re small enough to fit easily into a jacket, purse, fanny pack, or what have you.Several reviewers have complained about two problems with this organizer, but the manufacturer seems to have solved one of these problems, and I may have solved the other. The most frequent complaint has been that the lids on the smaller boxes are too tight, and can cause you to break a nail when you try to open them. But in this newer version of the 7Pack, the lids are not a problem. Even though they close securely, they are not hard to open. The second problem reviewers have mentioned is the printing on the big daily boxes. Each daily box is labeled, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc. Several reviewers have complained that this printing rubs off quickly with daily handling. Having been forewarned about this, I covered the printing on each box with a piece of transparent Scotch tape as soon as I unwrapped the 7Pack. This seems to have fixed the problem, at least temporarily. I can t be sure if it s a permanent fix, because I ve only had the organizer for a week but so far, so good.A week is also not long enough to know how durable the plastic hinges on the smaller boxes are. They look and feel sturdy, but if they prove to be otherwise, I ll write an update to this review. However, unless the 7Pack proves to be a lot less durable than it looks, it s the perfect pill organizer for me, and the only one I ll use from now on.P.S. Forgot to say that some reviewers have mentioned a third problem. They say that when B vitamin tablets are placed in the same compartment as the other pills, all the pills wind up smelling like B vitamins. I have no experience with this since I don t take a B-vitamin supplement, but each daily box has four separate, sealed compartments, so the problem should be easy to solve with a little advance planning. 5Great pill organizer.Takes about 5-10 minutes to fill each week, but I've been using it for a couple months and it has kept me organized and on-track with my medicines better than anything I had before. Don't worry about the compartments not being large enough... Each day has 4 separate slots and each slot can hold about 8 pills or so. Overall a very good find for anyone who likes being organized with their medication regimen. 4Largest most versatile pill compartmentsWhile it's still not the perfect pill set-up, there may never be for me. It's the only one I've found with this large of individual compartments and still one full day's worth per box. I'd still like a little larger compartments; AND most importantly the lids should open wider for easier filling, but remain just as stable when they're closed. Most of my pills are supplements and they are always large sized capsules/caplets, hence the need for large compartments. Try fitting 5-6 "horse pills" in one compartment, especially if there is a need for a couple small pills as well - it doesn't work! 4
