Good for carpal tunnel syndromeMy mother was walking through the flea market wearing her hand and arm braces due to carpal tunnel syndrome when a very nice Asian woman convinced her to try the Chinese balls. After this my mother no longer required surgery, this was nearly 20 years ago. Whenever I knit or crochet or play on the computer too much I get hand cramps, these relieve the cramps right away. 5These things are loudThe chiming sound coming from these things when I'm using them is too loud to use at work in cubicle land. I had to buy some without chimes. However, I took these home and really like them. They are comfortable and the sound does help relieve stress, I just don't like bothering my coworkers with unnecessary noise. 4GoodThe balls look and feel good, chimes pleasantly. Size and weight good for women a bit too small and light for men. For elderly or weak person it fits right.The balls I received are not ying-yang symbols but Dragon and birds. Turned out better for me since I already have another set y-y balls.There are tiny bubbles on the balls surface, a blemish.Overall a good purchase for the price with free shipping. 4JunkAbsolute and total garbage. Do not buy. The box is cheaply made, does not properly close and the green (not red) cover is disintegrating. The balls are lighter than usual and do not have a smooth finish. They do not feel pleasant in the hand. Waste of money. 1THEY LOOKED GREEN IN THE ADVERTISED PICTURE BUT THE ONES I GOT ARE A NICE BLUE COLORI HAVE HAD A PAIR OF LARGE CHROME BALLS FOR YEARS. I KEEP THEM IN A NIGHT STAND BESIDE THE BED AND USE THEM EVERY MORNING. THESE ARE A LITTLE SMALLER (LARGER THAN A PING PONG BALL BUT SMALLER THAN A GOLF BALL, FOR YOU FOLKS OUT THERE OUT ASKING ABOUT THE SIZE). THEY LOOKED GREEN IN THE ADVERTISED PICTURE BUT THE ONES I GOT ARE A NICE BLUE COLOR. THE CHINESE YIN/YANG SYMBOLS ARE A NICE TOUCH. MY MOTHER HAS HAD SOME ISSUES WITH HER RIGHT HAND SO I THINK I WILL GET HER A PAIR. THE SMALLER SIZE ARE LIGHTER SEEM TO BE EASIER TO MANIPULATE. THEY SEEM TO BE WELL MADE AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT. 5love thesethese are well made, balanced, have excellent painting and sound lovely. the box they come in is a little ragged, but the balls inside are awesome. 5I like them them other than the chimesI like the size and feel of these. The only thing I don't like are the chime bells inside. Rather annoying to me. I rather them be silent while I use them since I will most likely be watching TV or something else while using them. I'm sure some will and do like the chimes. The box was not as bad as others have stated. They seem to be in tact and reusable. Cheers 4Nice quality and size.I purchased a these for my occupational therapist. We use them for my hand therapy, and she needed an extra pair as she goes between offices. She was absolutely thrilled with the quality and the size. they arrived quickly and are a good buy for the money and quality. I have purchased an extra set for myself to use at home. 5Good product. I will be buying another set.The chimes give a pleasant jingle. My only complaint is with the display box. I bought this for myself and NOT as a gift AND will overlook it.I accidentally dropped one of the balls on my hardwood floor. I cringed. I worried I had damaged it the ball remained intact!
