Most Effective Wart Treatment I Have TriedI tried many Wart Treatments: Liquid Nitrogen at the Doctor's Office, Over the Counter Salicylic Acid and another Cryotherapy drug. None of these treatments worked. I decided to try one more over the counter drug before trying to see a Dermatologist for advanced options on my many warts. However, the Nitrofreeze worked.Make sure you only hold the pen down for two seconds before application because there is only about 15 seconds or so total of the substance, so you may not have enough nitrogen for your final applicator and lose a use if you go beyond the 2 seconds per applicator. Really apply deeply to the wart for the instructed amount of time. The 20 or so seconds is enough to beat the wart, but you do need to really burn it and hold down hard for those seconds. After applying, my warts typically came off around 3 weeks later. On occasion, a second application was needed a couple weeks later to take out some warts.I see a lot of negative comments on this product on Amazon. It is possible that people have greater success with certain wart medications over others. I am also curious if they really pressed down and caused a burn on the wart. The only thing I don't like about this product (aside from the low amount of nitrogen that can lead to a lost application) is the same issue all cryotherapy wart treatments have: the applicators' big size are not ideal for smaller warts. You are more likely to attack healthy skin instead of those small warts no matter how careful you are. However, it was worth it as Nitrofreeze took out all of the warts I directed it at. 5Best wart remover I've ever used! Killed my stubborn wart after 1 treatmentI have, strike that, I had a very stubborn wart that no matter what I tried, would never go away - until I tried the Compound W Nitrofreeze. I tried everything - the liquid wart remover, other freezing technologies. I even visited a dermatologist with no luck. Nothing worked until I tried this Compound W Nitrofreeze. After using this product, the wart fell off after about a week. Yes!!!Because nothing had worked in the past, I was a little skeptical, but Compound W has a good reputation as a wart remover. And so I thought I would give it try (what did I have to lose? Except a wart!). The instructions were pretty straight-forward (although I did watch the video on the product page just to make sure). I ended up only needing to use 1 treatment before the wart was gone. Like I said, after about a week, the Nitrofreeze killed the wart.Strongly recommend this product for those with stubborn warts. Stubborn warts should be afraid. They should be very afraid. 5Does nothing useful.One star specifically for the nitro freeze. This does not work at all. Followed instructions, did nothing, went a little beyond instructions with time releasing nitrous to make cold as well as time applied to skin, did nothing, then went crazy and way over did it, and it felt cold but the second (45 seconds) I pulled it off I cold tell it did... nothing. At this point it was used up. Expensive for doing nothing. 1Do not waste your money! Only one charge!Zero stars! I used the product once, after reading the lengthy directions to make sure I did it as prescribed. When I went to use it again two weeks later there was nothing left. They give 5 applicators but it'll only work once. I thought I had maybe gotten a faulty one, so I purchased another kit, and it was the same story. For the steep price you might as well just go see a Dr. Do not waste your money! 1Doesn't work - wasted my moneySo I bought the Nitrofreeze to remove three skin tags. Followed the instructions to the letter. No results. I even applied it three times to one area. It sounds like a pretty good idea, but in my opinion the tip doesn't get cold enough for long enough. Generally speaking, I just don't think you can apply it fast enough for it to be effective. I've used the entire contents of the can and didn't even begin to achieve the results claimed by the manufacturer. I don't know if the purchase price can be refunded or not, but I do know that at least for me this was a total bust! 1Worthless RipoffIf this worked for others, then mine must be from a deffecive batch. This product does not freeze anything. After following the instructions to the letter, this product does not get cold enough to affect the tissue, let alone freeze it 30% OF USERS GAVE IT ONE STAR. Amazon should not sell this defective product. 1More compact, more reusable, and more precise.This gets colder than the Dr. Sholls version, though I've found that none of these freeze-offs do the job unless I really over-charge them. I can't recommend that you do that, but you should know that this didn't permanently freeze off my little pinky wart until I charged it for 6 seconds, then held it on for 45. It gets 5-stars from me because that's always been my experience with other products, but this was more convenient and comfortable to use.No disposing of tips with this, and the metal tip is rounded, making it better suited to more sizes of warts. The foamy disposable ones are always too big unless you've really let that wart grow. 5DOES NOT WORKI never write reviews, but this product is horrible. If I could give zero stars, I would. It s expensive and it doesn t work. I could only use it twice before it ran out. I don t know how anyone could get 6 uses. I ended up taking my son to the dermatologist. I wish I would have saved $30 and bypassed this product! 1*Technically* it worksTechnically this product does work however it's very brutal with it and it doesn't last long at all, so I used it on 2 warts and it stung like fire I left it for 10 seconds and removed it about a minute later they bubbled and hardened underneathNext morning the bubble is still there but after about 3 hours I notice one of them started leaking a liquidy substance (I assume it's puss) so I squeeze it and sure enough a large amount shoots onto my arm, 10 minutes later the skin where I applied the freeze comes off completely 5 minutes after that the other bubble starts doing the same thing and I squeeze it and same dealIn summary it removed the warts however I wouldn't recommend this it technically is burning your skin and it's a very brutal way to remove the warts, I suppose if you have a really stubborn wart this would be awesome for it but other than that I don't recommend 3Nitrofreeze Worked for MeI recently got a very painful wart at the inner base of my thumb. I used to get warts on my hands as a child and would have to have them burned off at the doctor's office. But I hadn't gotten once since elementary school so I was less than thrilled. I decided to try the Nitrofreeze even though it was a little more expensive than a copay to go to the doctor. It's really easy to use and after the first application, the skin turned white immediately but then within seconds went back to its normal skin color. I thought maybe I had done it wrong. I decided to wait a few days and nothing seemed to be happening so I did it again. Same thing. After a few more days I tried one more time and shortly after that I could see things happening (the black dot inside, skin changing, etc.) Two weeks later that thing is completely gone! No more painful wart that would hurt every time I tried to grip something. Very happy with the results. I never had to wear a band-aid (which wouldn't have worked well anyway because of where it was located.) And it was never an annoyance while it was dying and starting to come off. Worked great for me - you just have to be patient. 5
