Hands down the best product to use to keep my son's PEG tube ...Hands down the best product to use to keep my son's PEG tube dry and clean and to keep granulation tissue away. Easy to wash by hand (though they can be washed in the laundry I worry that I would get lost) and then snap them around a plastic hanger to allow them to dry overnight. If you or someone you know has a feeding tube buy these and toss the gauze. 5We are very happy with the qualityThese button covers are soft and fit perfectly around my son's MicKey botton. One side is "furry" and the other a plain but still very soft material. They come out well in the regular washing machine wash. We are very happy with the quality. 5Good pad for G tube usersThese cutie buttons provide good padding around my wife's g tube without a lot of tape. They are compact and easy to clean. She is pleased so I am pleased. We find we still need to put a small piece of tape on these to hold them in place. 4Love them!I love these little guys! The last set the snap was offset differently-closer together making it tighter... but still seem to work out. 4Great productMy husband has to use a g tube because he has laryngeal cancer and the radiation has affected his swallowing. I ordered these hoping that they would be good. They are better than good. They are great. With the little button that snaps closed, they stay in place, not like the split gauze pads that need to be taped down. They also clean easy. I followed someone else's recommendation. I soak them in cool water with oxyclean and sort of mush them around and let them sit. My husband's don't get to dirty so all the stain comes out before I wash them. After soaking, I just hand wash them with liquid laundry detergent, rinse well, and hang them on a plastic clothes hanger to dry. The other person said you can throw them in the washing machine in a laundry mesh bag and then throw them in the dryer. I usually wait till I have about 4-5 of them before I do this process and the stains still come out. He and I just love them. Best product ever. 5We LOVE this productNot sure how we managed without these for the past 8 years!We LOVE this product. So soft, washes beautifully, fits securely and comfortably. We purchased one set for my daughter at Christmas and plan to buy more as soon as they are available. We are down to only two left from our original set and I assume I've been losing them in the washing machine. From now on, I will use a small mesh bag to wash them so I don't lose these -- they are like GOLD! :) 5Cutie Buttons are a MUST!!!This is my second purchase of the cutie button pads (white). I had been using regular drain sponges, and decided to try the cutie button pads based on others' recommendations. They truly are far better than drain sponges! Plus there is no taping to the skin to keep the sponge in place!I purchased the 2nd set to allow me more time between laundry days. For some reason, I could not find the cutie button brand when I was trying to place my reorder, and therefore purchased similar white pads from anothe vendor. The other vendor's product was not as soft or plush, and the materials used did not launder as nicely. I was glad I was able to find the Cutie Button brand again!If you have never purchased the cutie button pads, you should give them a try! I use one pad in the morning, and one overnight. The pads rinse out easily in warm water, along with a few drops of dawn dish detegent. I then place the rinsed pad into a small plastic container to soak in a 1/4 tsp of oxi-clean. I rinse the cutie button pad in clean water, squeeze out the water, and put the button around a plastic tube hangar to dry. On laundry day, all of the hand washed pads go into a zippered lingerie bag and into the washing machine. After washing, the lingerie bag with the cutie button pads goes into the dryer, and out come clean and soft cutie button pads! (I then store the clean pads in a 10"x 3" open top plastic storage box -from Walmart's kitchen section).if you or a family member is a tubie, these cutie button pads are definately worth trying! (I did not receive any product or discount for my review). 5
