So I have horrible SI joint painSo I have horrible SI joint pain. I really think this would have worked if it didn't slide up every time I sat down. It might be do big. Ordered the large but probably should've gotten medium. I am thick 5' 8" 200 lbs and it literally wrapped around me. Maybe that's why it kept sliding up even with the silicone grippers it has inside of it. I think the size chart might be a little off. 2Relieved chronic SI joint pain!This is the best SI belt I've xome accross. Stays in place, fit well & more importantly, keep I joint stabilized thus reducing pain. I can recommend this Don Joy product for folks suffering debilitating SI joint pain. Easy to use, seems quality buit although I have used it just 2x. Not exactly low profile but if you have severe SI joint pain ypu don't care. My product was promised 2 day Amazon shpping but took longer to arrive. I am glad to have it and would say that, while it is pricey, the relief is very good! 5Bought for my husband who has EDS. This definitely ...Bought for my husband who has EDS. This definitely works at keeping his SI joints and hips in line. He can definitely feel a difference. Only downside is it is kind of hard to fit under jeans but otherwise works as it is supposed to 5Instant pain relief!I've struggled with SI pain for years, and it gets particularly bad during pregnancy. While I don't wear it past 30 weeks or so, it helps all the way up until then. When I put it on and tighten it with the pulley I feel instant relief in my back, hips, and buttock. It is easy to put on and operate. Using the pulley takes no effort at all. My only complaint is that it's hard to wear while sitting, so I'm really only able to use it when I am going to be on my feet for a while. I usually wear it while I'm cooking dinner and cleaning up. 5Like many other reviewersLike many other reviewers, it was my physical therapist who recommended this DonJoy SI support belt--not the physician! After years of PT, cortisone shots, exercises for this joint, etc., I finally found something that gives me great relief! After my mother injured her back and the doctors gave her one of these and she was telling me how amazing it was and all this and all that i still didnt think anything of it. I injured my back while in the army and every day i have back pain that sometimes makes me want to drop to my knees. I went to her house and tried it on one day when i could barely stand. The second we tightened the belt i felt almost instantly better. I was able to bend, move, the pinched spot in my back didnt feel like someone stabbing me anymore so i had to get one. I carey it in my bag with me everywhere. 5A life saver for SacroiliitisI have lupus and one of the meds I'm on can cause sacroiliitis with long term use. it is the most painful, debilitating back issue I have ever had. I was becoming a shut in until my physical therapist suggested that I get an SI belt. After checking out the reviews, I picked this one and it has changed my life. No more pain and I haven't noticed any of the problems other reviewers had. It doesn't slip and it hasn't stretched out at all. I think it's important to learn the correct way to wear it. I had my therapist show me but what an amazing difference this belt make. 5worked great for me sacroiliitis post pregnancyI have had sacroiliitis for over 2 years after 2 pregnancies that were close together and this gave me great relief! The nurse practitioner that gave me steroid injections recommended that I wean myself off the belt to let my muscles support my skeleton, but I am very glad I had this belt.
