OMG this is the one!Over the past several years I have bought probably a dozen options for neck massage and have avoided this one because of the price, but I should ve just got it in the first place. It s perfect. Where the best of the other ones would make you say, oh, it s kind of getting it, this one just completely gets the spots every time right away without being uncomfortable. Totally worth it! 5Not worth the moneyJust didn't feel it was worth what I paid for it. Did not make me feel great. Watched quite a few videos and still didn't like it. I feel better when I put two tennis balls in an old sock and tie it tight and roll on my back and neck with it. Returned it. 1I really wanted to like this productI really wanted to like this product. I bought several massage tools at once and thought this would be my favorite. Sadly, it wasn't. It's....clunky and hard to use. Also, it's relatively unfinished, so you never hit that "smooth" corner. I'm actually pretty bummed. If it works for others though, awesome. 2Happiness!Happiness!! I was doubtful paying $49 for a small plastic thingy, but my migraines and soreness prompted me to try out this gadget. In some positions it'd slip, which was frustrating. But adding a thin pillow to the back of my computer chair gave the massage tool something to anchor itself to, and fixed that problem. What surprised me was how wonderful it felt to put it on the spine positions. Those points are very painful to me, but this item gives more relief than anything I have ever tried. And using it on my neck feels like I've been adjusted by a chiropractor; it gives me the same sort of rush. Thank you!! No buyers remorse this time!! 5Awesome Massage ToolI'm a massage therapist and this tool works great! I've used it on almost every client with deep or non-deep tissue requests as a tool in motion - they feel the results of more ROM and freer mobility. I don't limit the use to the back or neck ... it works great in the glutes (booty muscles) along the sacrum (tail bones) and really cleans out fascia around the Greater Tracantor (the bone that sticks out laterally below the hip), down the sides, front and backs of legs (trying to be non-medical here) and deep in the Lumbar area (lower back). The only thing that needs to be changed is the name .... I need something simple - there's too many "massage tools" so I simply call it "Berg" - it's become my buddy, my back and hand saver. This is me working on others... The technique will be hard to emulate on your self, so take it to your massage therapist and ask them to use it on you! Thank you, Dr. Berg!!! 5Uncomfortable for me, cannot justify the cost, BUT . . .Ok, I love Dr. Berg. I think he's one of the most knowledgeable and sensible people on YouTube and KUDOS! to him for debunking so much of the junk that the corrupt medical and pharma industries claim and promote. I like that he educates himself consistently and shares - free of charge - volumes of information to the general public and hopefully more and more people will begin to pay attention to him and others who offer such important knowledge. Therefore, I really wanted to like this massage tool - and as a strong advocate for accupressure I totally believe in the concept behind it. But I don't know if it's the super-hard material that it's made from or what but I found it to be too uncomfortable, but primarily for me it is the cost. I simply cannot justify $60 for this tool, when there are much less expensive and more comfortable tools that will accomplish the same thing. Imo, Dr. Berg needs to cut the price in half on this particular item. The price may not be an issue for others and also many people evidently love the tool and find that it comfortably helps them, so more power to them. But given that Dr. Berg is trying to help the mass populace, I think he would do well to reduce the price on this and maybe even on the next round of production, use a material that is perhaps a bit softer in overall density. All that said, since I'm such a fan of his and believe in what he's doing, I am giving this 3 stars and I am NOT telling others to not purchase it - I'm just offering my two cents worth based on my use and opinion of the product and pricing. 3Dr Bergs's massage tool shrank in sizeI have 2 of this and the new version all the legs are shorter. It basically is a smaller version of the original and the cost is 30% than the one before. I lost mine camping, and this one just doesn't do as well as the old one. The legs are shorter so when you have it in the chair or the bed, it rolls around and not steady. Why change a good thing? Cost of making it I guess or the shipping? 1Immediate good sensations!I just opened my package today and immediately used it. Very easy to use and I felt immediate relief. I used to go to the chiropractor a few times a month and can't afford that at the moment, but this gave me a similar sensation of (for lack of better words) energy flow throughout my spine and in the areas of focus! Thank you so much for this product! 5Worth its Weight in GoldAmazing.I tore it out of the box so excited and scrambled to turned on Dr. Bergs u tube video talking about how to use this effectively .Within seconds my neck stopped hurting and i felt this deep soothing calm wash over me.I live in a very stressful situation that is ongoing and the stress had built up so much i could not even turn my neck to the right when driving or bike riding to check my blind spot but had to turn my entire body and even then that hurt and i had to do even that slowly like i was 90 years old.I carry this tool everywhere now in my bag and use it every chance i get ,everyone i show it to ,loves it and wants one. Dr. Berg is the kind of Dr. I have been waiting for my whole life.He lives what he preaches ,is passionate ,precise,dedicated,truly eat breathes and sleeps what he believes in.I have gotten Dr. Bergs other products and they all work.I am a tough critic,highly sensitive and live in great pain and illness for my whole life.My whole life i have felt like i am hanging on by a thread .This is like a re-birth to have hope again,to see the sun peeking through the clouds.Thank you Dr. Berg. 5Helps me get to sleepExcellent tool. I don't think there is $40 worth of plastic here, but no one else seemed to have anything like this when I did my research....and I am very careful, and look around for the best value.There is definitely $40 worth of information in Dr. Eric Berg's you tube videos. They are really well done, with lots of information on weight loss, fatigue, etc. He has videos on how to use this tool to help you sleep at night. Before using this, I had difficulty getting to sleep. Now, I fall asleep, if I use this in dim light before bedtime. (I still wake in the middle of the night, though. ) Overall, I feel more relaxed, too. You will learn enough to fix yourself without his products, and there is no hard sell.This tool is very good for doing acupressure on yourself, and comes with an easy to you instruction booklet. 5
