Work as promisedI always thought Dr. Martens weren't for me because I couldn't figure out the sizing, until I got these.My chelsea boots were way too huge as a 9 but TINY on me as an 8. These fixed the fit completely by basically making it a half size down.I can move them to other docs I have which is great. 5Fit perfectly in my women's 8065 Mary JanesThe original insole that came with my shoe started to wrinkle and split and rub my big toe badly. I replaced the damaged insole with these. No trimming necessary. I wear a US size 9/UK 7. 5Great comfortI bought these due to some advice on how to make my Doc Martens more comfortable. They fit perfectly in my size 12 1460's and they are ultra comfortable. Great purchase! 5Perfect for Dr Marten lovers who are inbetween sizes.These do the trick if your Doc's are just a bit too large. Also they feel good.Not much more to say about Insoles - except I would go for these name brands to fit in your Docs rather than a diff insole. Unfortunately, receiving my Doc Martens was quite the process, so by the time I realized that the store assistant told me to order too big a size, I had already worn my shoes to the point that my soles hurt. Finally, I bought these, which make for a tighter fit, and now when I walk, my foot doesn't move around like it used to, which previously caused callusing and soreness on my heel. Very grateful for these! 5Grooved, but great!The other reviews aren't kidding: the grooves are a little bit noticeable, and it does take a bit of fiddling to get them in (though admittedly, I'm dealing with an English-made pair of unknown origin, so I don't know if was sized in US or UK terms). Once they're in, they're not going anywhere, though, and they do give an added snugness and bounce which is much appreciated. 4Perfect fit for my Dr Martin BootsI never can get an exact fit with the trim to fit type by other brands. These always fit perfectly. I have bought these for all my Dr Martin Boots. 5If you are a half size...You NEED these insoles! I am an 8.5 and my boots are a 9. I had them for 2 years before ordering these, but now I am kicking myself for not doing it sooner.These make all th difference in the world with the fit and comfort. 5Heaven Sent!I have a skinny foot and high arches so my boots fit length wise, but they were quite big and consequently pretty uncomfortable in the toe area. These are perfect! I left the original insole in and used these as a filler. I followed the sizing chart and got the same size as my 5Pricey, but worth itI had purchased my second pair of steel toed doc's (Icon 7B10's) and purchased the same size as before. They were a little roomy and have been rubbing right toe and causing general foot pain. I knew it would go away once they fully broke in (last ones were the most comfy shoes I've ever owned after a month and a half), but I decided to get some insoles to help in the mean time and for arch support as I have flat feet. They still hurt me a little on the right foot as they're still molding to my wide feet and rub. It helped substantially though, now the shoes are a perfect fit and I have way more arch support. Its great to not have to cut them to size (I always screw it up a little). They come in standard sizes and fit perfectly right away. In summary, I'm happy, they're more comfortable during the break in period and the gel and arch support are very nice. 5
