Not a bad brace. Keep adjusting for proper fitThe brace takes some getting used to but once it is adjusted I often forgot I was wearing it. It is neoprene and I live in Texas so it does get very hot. I use powder under it to help with the heat and sweat issues. It does help with my shoulder issues but not as much as it would others. In addition to other surgeries on the joint, I also had a good portion of my collar bone removed that could not be repaired. This leaves some extra empty space in which everything moves. This brace, after a while, will do as it is intended and push the shoulder joint against the body for the extra support needed, this causes a bit of uncomfortable pressure. This is remedied by readjusting the tension straps. You may have to make several small adjustments until you get a comfortable fit and after some wear you may need to readjust throughout the day depending on activity. Give it a chance. Tinker with it for a week before you give up. It is really not bad. 4Dislocated Shoulder... Perfect SolutionI dislocated my shoulder a few years ago and since that time, my shoulder likes to re-dislocate during strenuous activity. My shoulder feels so much more supported with this brace. My shoulder is supported and the brace does not allow my shoulder to slip out of place. I love all the points of adjustments. I always wear this brace when I am swimming and I have never had an issue with it in the water. If you need a brace, this is the one for you. 5Female Review- Grade 2 SeparationThis review is being written by an obese female with large breasts and arms. I am being blunt and up front, because I wish I could have found a similar review when searching for a brace for myself. All modeled photos are on muscular men who do not have breasts or fat to contend with.I purchased this in XXL. My chest measures (after the compression from this) 47". I wear a regular bra underneath and then this. I don't feel I look abnormally shaped.That's the aesthetics. I tried a few other ones and was very displeased with the strap placement in the middle and the painful compression of my upper arm.Overall, the important part is the function and support of my shoulder. That part is great. I feel that I am able to get a tight enough fit that it holds the AC joint together and in place while it heals. I have minimal pain and restriction with daily activities, but enough support and restriction to stop me from doing too much or trying anything stupid.I would recommend this brace to others in my situation. So far, I'm very pleased with this item.... Though I'm looking forward to being healed and not needing it at all!!! :) 5Great if you throw and want extra support for a shoulder.I play softball with a bad shoulder. This item was a savior last season. Helped me to focus on my mechanics (even though that s not what it s designed for). Didn t interfere with batting or doing anything athletic. Once the game starts I barely realized I was wearing it. Plus it s easy to get into and out of. 5Things to consider before buyingThe size charts are very misleading. It can vary either way. The material itself has an oder to it and I had to air it out for several weeks. Washing will not help right out of the box. Quality is good and I would recommend it but not for imitate use. 4Can't believe how strong the velcro is!I've been wearing this brace to bed every night for a month, and the velcro always sticks all night long. I've never seen velcro this powerful. I'm impressed! 5Some Use If You Have BreastsThe Good:1. It fits and you can adjust it to provide compressionThe Bad:1. It rides up even when you are standing, especially if you have breasts.2. If you have breasts, it rides up so much when you are sitting that is useless. I have to take it off. 3really good shoulder supportThe brace looked great and had good support. I ordered this for my bro and it ripped twice after a few wrestling matches. It is still a really good quality, I just wish it was tougher 4Over shirt looks weird and comfortable for meThis is my 3rd shoulder brace i ordered. The others were $20. I up my budget considering how big the straps look and wide. Im a weight lifter with a 48inch to 50inch chest. I have a injured ac joint. This definitely beats the other 2. The straps dont twist or fold. I feel the support and restriction which i need. So you know not to move it. Its important for the healing that i dont over stretch it. Only con is it does get bit hot. I put it on bare skin. Over shirt looks weird and comfortable for me. But overall Im satisfied. Just hope the velcro last. Also go with this model the x strap makes a huge difference. 4(Please Read) Best money I've ever spent!My shoulder popped out every game in high school And now in semi pro football. I couldn't push defenders out of the way I couldn't swim rib or bull rush.I couldn't even tackle anyone because when I extend my arm my shoulder would blow-out . I figured I would try this brace because I have nothing to lose and was thinking about giving up football for good . Since I've put on this brace my shoulder has not once popped out . I honestly can't believe how good this brace works. I can finally play the game I love Without worried about my shoulder .If you have any shoulder problem trust me this will work . I was in tears I was so happy I'm finally a threat player again. 5
