Well worth it!Been taking for years and my eye health is perfection! 5Encouraged for macular degeneration.Seemed to help me with my dry eye issues. 4Good product, high priceMore expensive than most of the eye vitamins, but this is what my eye doctor recommended. Other brands are a lot less expensive. Sticking with it, but would love if I could get a lower price. 5Correct dosageI take these vitamins to treat my macular degeneration. So far they are doing the trick and keeping it at a stand still. 5It works well for meMy macular degeneration was expected to slowly and continuously progress, but after taking these a couple of years, it is stable and not progressing, as we'd hoped. Well worth the cost. 5To Zinc or not to ZincI found out through an eye exam I had macular degeneration. I was taking this vitamin supplement with the zinc for a few years. I started getting very blurred vision. My eye dr. suggested I have a check swab,that in turn, is sent to a lab, to determine what type of macular I have. As it turns out, I have dry macular, but more important, the check swab showed I needed the zinc free EyePromise. Since taking this, my blurred vision has improved dramatically. 5How will this affect my eyesight?It is difficult to know how much good it is doing, but it is supposed to slow down my macular degeneration.Being recommended by an eye doctor, it must have value and eyesight is precious. It isn't possible to judge the night vision as I really don't go out that much at night. 4Gel capsules leaking.My eye doctor recommend this product as being better than Occuvite which he had recommended for many years. The product I bought from him was fine but the two bottles I ordered from Amazon had leakage. The first bottle was so bad I returned it for a refund. I am using the second bottle which leaves my fingers orange. The fish smell is unpleasant. I'm not sure where the problem begins, the manufacturer, who should include a silica packet to absorb moisture, or Amazon and their handling of the product. I won't buy it from Amazon again. I'll try my eye doctor. 2well recommendedJust started using it. Being a vitamin like pill, it will take some time to feel a reaction. I used as maintenance, not tocure or solve a problem 5Best product availableMy Optometrist recommended this specific brand and product because it contained the most potent and appropriate ingredients to help prevent me from getting macular degeneration. I checked out a number of other different brands and products, but none of them contained ALL of the ingredients that Areds 2 Plus Zinc did. Since I have the very beginnings of macular degeneration, I want to take the best product possible.to make sure my condition doesn't progress. It hasn't to date! 5
