Best Cup Ever!I had nearly given up on finding a menstrual cup that would work for me. I tried the Diva cup, which was way too long, the stem even poked out when I attempted to sit, ouch! I also tried the Softcup, but had it leak several times on me. Menstrual cups aren't cheap, and it's not like you can return them if they don't work, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to invest more money in a concept that didn't seem to be working for me. After more research, I finally decided to purchase this one, and I'm sooooo glad I did! This has been awesome! I used to leak through super tampons regularly during the first few days of my period and had to take frequent bathroom breaks, which doesn't work well in my job. With the FemmyCycle, I was able to empty it only once in a 13 hour shift and have had absolutely no leaks! And the emptying is so much easier because of its design. When you pull the cup out, the contents don't spill like it does with other cups. Also, its easy to remove with the ring. The best part, I didn't feel this cup at all while wearing it. The material is soft and ring doesn't stick out at all, plus the ring is just as soft as the rest of the cup. I know I have a low cervix, but I wanted the absolute smallest cup they offered, so I got the petite size. In their recommendations, it says not for women who have had children. Well, I'm 39, with two full-term pregnancies and the petite size works perfectly for me. Their website does an good job of discussing the sizes and figuring out which ones might work best based on the length of your vaginal canal. Their website also does a great job of answering other questions one might have plus several videos discussing common questions and showing how to use it. I'm so glad I found this cup, it's made my periods so much easier to deal with, plus I don't have to hassle around with making sure I have enough tampons with me. 5I have been using non-applicator (organic cotton) tampons for the better part of 10 years nowLife changer right here. You cannot feel a thing, smell a thing, and you feel SO CLEAN!The instructions say you need 3-4 cycles to get use to using it efficiently, but I got it on the first try, no problem. That being said, to be fair, I have been using non-applicator (organic cotton) tampons for the better part of 10 years now, and use a yoni egg, so I am familiar with how I need to tilt my pelvis and at what angle things must go, which I believe gave me a bit of a "leg-up" in this situation. (ha, I'm funny)Easy to take out, easy to clean.I'm 29, no kids, non-sexually active, weak pelvic floor, relatively low cervix, with a light flow that last maybe 2 days and a day of "clearing" known as spotting to most. I cannot speak as to how long someone would want to change theirs, but for me I could go my entire cycle if needed, but chose to change at the 12 hour mark. No issues after being in the ocean either.I will say, for those who do not wish to talk about such things, that you need to be aware of when go #2. If you do not relax and allow it come out on its own, without pushing, you may have to re-adjust your cup as most people cannot isolate their anus from their vagina when it comes to relaxing one and contracting the other. You do not want to push your cup out, nor have it slide down too far because you strained during a bowel movement. If you do any pelvic floor training, you should be able to contract your pelvic floor while your rectum is able to relax and release. 5Love it!!! Will not use anything else:)For reference, I am 36 and have not had kids. I have tried the Instead Softcup and the Diva 35+m size, as well as the FemmyCycle in the teen size. This one is the best of the three by far. It is easy to insert (no spinning to get it to open, which I found to be difficult as well as messy). It stayed in through whitewater rafting and ziplining on my heaviest day with no leakage or any issues. It's easy to remove and the best part is that everything stays contained!! When you're done, the bathroom will not look like you just killed someone, also nice if you have to change it at work, or if any queasy men have to use the bathroom after you. I did not, by the way, have to change it at work, it lasted a full 12 hours with no leaking and no problems. I have a relatively light period though, so that may not be universal. 5Came usedBeware! When I got this product the safety seal had been broken. Upon opening the box I noticed that not only did the cup have obvious water spots on it from having been washed, but there was also a very long hair on the cup. That aside, when I got a replacement, I could not get it to work for me at all. I've used the diva cup for a year before trying this one. I like that it's very soft so it conforms to your body, but I could not get it to work. It would fill up a little bit, but mostly I would just leak as if i wasnt using anything. I know it's different than the diva cup, and it takes time to relearn how to use a cup so different, but no amount googling and youtube tutorials helped. Stick with the diva cup, or any similar cup. Way easier and more reliable. 1comfortable, soft, easy to removethere's definitely a bit of a learning curve to this (make sure you wear pads at first). don't completely squish it flat when you fold so it can open and hold fluid. the material is waaaaaaay softer, transparent, and more comfortable than a divacup, I've had much less spillage (only when it's full), and I forget it's even there. I don't usually feel chafing unless it's at inserted a weird angle and gets full. It doesn't open up completely and it's able to mold to your shape a bit which is really comfortable. the pull-ring really makes it easy to remove, too. it might be awkward to find a good placement at first due to its hyperflexibility but the tradeoff is really worth the benefits. 5Love it! If you haven't tried a cup beforeLove it! If you haven't tried a cup before, I recommend reading/watching as much as you can online first! I bought this after purchasing a model 1 Diva Cup locally; I liked the DivaCup okay but it felt a bit large and I couldn't get it to open completely. I bought the smaller (teen) FemmyCycle for it's smaller size, more comfortable matieral, and easy removal ring. I am athletic and the FemmyCycle fits better for me, even though I am not small or a teen. I have a few other brands on the way to try, but the material of the FemmyCycle is so nice that I'm considering ordering one of the larger sizes for heavy days if I need it. I wish they sold a teen/regular combo pack on Amazon!I never thought I'd be leaving reviews for a feminine hygiene product, but these are great! 5Best cup so far; no leaks.I've tried the DivaCup and Softcup with little success, so decided to try this one after doing my research. I am 30 years old (no kids), but decided to try the teen size since the DivaCup seemed too large and the Softcup too uncomfortable. Also, I read about others around my age using this size with no problems. I'm still a beginner with reusable cups, so I did have trouble inserting this cup at first. Once I did, I couldn't feel it, but I started having mild cramping. I went back into the restroom to re-adjust the cup by pushing it in slightly, then gently tugging on the ring, and finally running my finger around the cup. After that, no cramping sensations, no soreness, and can't feel it at all. To top it off, I haven't had any leaks with this cup yet. This is my first time trying it out, but so far it's great. I believe the cramping sensation was due to not inserting it all the way since I'm still a beginner, so I am not too concerned since the sensation went away after adjusting. I will give an updated review once I've had more experience with it, but I'd highly recommend this for those who aren't familiar with cups or having bad luck with other brands. 5This cup is the BOMBI used a DivaCup for 5 years and decided to try a new cup, I watched lots of YouTube videos and read online reviews of the millions of different types and decided on this one. Thankfully I was not disappointed! I can't believe I used a DivaCup for so long, if only I'd known about this cup! The benefit this cup has over other brands is that this cup forms to your body, it doesn't force your body to form around the cup. The loop is very squishy and comfortable, it doesn't poke you like some stems do if they're not in perfectly. Plus the spill-proof lip makes removal impossibly clean and easy, no more 'splash' zone clean-up!I am a petite, married, 26 year old woman and decided to go for the teen size as my flow isn't typically very heavy and the size of the regular was a bit daunting. I would recommend this cup for beginners, teens, or anyone with a lighter flow. Easy and comfortable, all around great cup. I also like that they made a low-cervix model, you really don't see many of those. If you're here because you're considering switching from pads/tampons, I would highly recommend making the switch. It's cost-efficient, eco-friendly, it doesn't mess with your flora and fauna, there's no risk of TSS, and you can keep it in for 12 HOURS. I don't even know why anyone would use tampons when you can use a cup. And for the record, I started using a menstrual cup when I was a virgin and I didn't have any issues.Well, that's about as person as I'm going to get with the internet today. Do your research and buy the menstrual cup that's right for your needs! 5Great little cup! But not my Goldilocks cup.So this cup is absolutely adorable and I love most things about it. I got the teen size because even though I am 27, I have very tight vaginal muscles. I am also new to the cup world and wanted to start with something small.*I did use a Diva cup when I was about 18, and it was very uncomfortable to me. Very large and painful to get in and out, and it leaked like crazy.A few of the reasons why I love this cup is because the material is nice and soft, and it can work without opening fully. I was afraid of having another cup leak like the Diva cup. Because of how small and comfortable it is, I m not afraid to use it. I, like many women, have very sensitive lady parts during that time of month and this cup is nice and soft and has never hurt to put in our take out.My reason for docking one star is because it is a little hard to open because of how soft it is. I have to really mess with it incense it is inside to get it unfolded, and I have tried several folds like the C fold, punch down, and the 7 fold. If it isn t open it will leak.I would absolutely love if that offered this cup in a slightly firmer material so that the folds would open up a little easier once inserted. I also think I m going to have to buy a regular one for my heavy days. The no spill design is awesome though! You will love that. 4The best cup everI have used a diva cup for many many years. Probably over a decade. The last couple years, it has felt uncomfortable for me. It either hurt my bladder or insides while it was in, or it hurt to insert it. I even gave up on it for a while and went back to pads. Then I went back to the diva cup, and inserting it was far worse than I remember. It was so hard and felt painful to get it open, and sometimes it would pop open before I was done inserting it and that felt horrible!Enter the femmy cycle. I'd been researching cups for a long time and felt fairly confident I wanted the femmy cycle. A few years back I got the femcap (cervical cap) by the same people and was quite impressed. When I was purchasing that, I stumbled upon the femmy cycle. It took me a year to decide to order it and now I really regret not ordering it earlier.I'm 39, have never given birth, and have a fairly high cervix. I ended up ordering the petite, because I was so stressed out with how painful the diva cup has been lately I just didn't want to risk the regular size and have issues inserting. I can now confidentially say the regular size would have also been fine- this cup is so soft and comfortable. The first time I used it I felt like I had to get up in there and make it open. I could NOT get it to open, and even though instructions said it wouldn't open fully I was convinced it would leak if I left it like that. Thanks to a YouTube video from another user, I decided to be brave and see what happened. What happened was, that cup caught every drop of fluid. No leaks overnight. I cleaned it in the morning and reinserted. No leaks all day. And the next day and night, the same!!! It feels like it will never work because I swear, it seems like it's a crushed folded thing up there, but IT WORKS. Like magic. And it's so so comfortable. So soft and easy to insert, and the fact that I don't have to try to open it makes it much quicker to use, too! And the lip to prevent spills? AMAZING. Everything about it is amazing. I was worried it would be painful to take out, but it's so easy and I can't feel a thing.I wish I had purchased this years ago. I'm never using another cup again. I might buy the regular size just in case I have really heavy days, but so far the petite is working really well for me (my heavy days seemed to fill it about half full).I can't recommend it highly enough. I know it doesn't work for some people (according to reviews here) but for me, this is the cup to end all cups. It's perfect, I love it. If you want a soft comfy cup, you'll probably love this too. 5
