Comfortable and supportiveThis brace is fabulous. I have disk problems and to add insult to injury fell and fractured a vertebrae. This brace is comfortable while giving me good support. Comfortable to sleep in as it is not too binding. 5Also those back braces would give support for an hour or so and my back would be hurting so bad for the remainder of the dayI wanted to wait a week before I posted a review to see how this back brace held up. I've had back pain for as long as I can remember, both lower, middle and upper back pain. I've bought many of back braces. Mostly the ones from Wal-Mart (Mueller and Ace). All of which helped for awhile but quickly wore out. Also those back braces would give support for an hour or so and my back would be hurting so bad for the remainder of the day. This back brace is awesome. I knew from the moment I tried it on that It would be ten times better than the ones I've tried before. I like that it covers a wider area of my back than previous owned back braces. Another big plus is that I move around a alot at work. Lifting stuff, etc. The previous back braces I've had, tend to shift on my back after a certain amount of time throughout the day. This back brace stays put. Once I put it on, it stays in that spot. And it provides really great support. In closing I would like to mention that I hesitated for a long time buying this back brace because, even reading the reviews, I didn't think it would be any better than the ones I already purchased before for the same price. I was wrong. If you are on the fence about this, do yourself a favor and get it. I wish I would of bought it months ago when I first searched for it. 5Same features as other brands, 1/2 price!This is one of the best back supports I've bought. I wouldn't recommend using a brace for everyday waking life if you suffer from disc issues, as your spine actually needs to keep moving around in order to heal... but it is GREAT for use during heavy physical activity to prevent further injury. 5Very supportive!!My waist is 34" and I got a large. It fits OK, but I probably could go with an extra large. It still works for me. It definitely supports my back and has reduced the pain in my back. Two thumbs up!! 5Support Rod Ripped Thru Fabric After A Few WearsInitially the brace was comfortable and I felt my back was adequately supported. Wore it a few times and started feeling something poking me in thr back. I took it off and realized that it was one of the support rods poking me. It ripped through the fabric amd was digging into my skin. DEFECTIVE, WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN. 1Great Brace!Very well constructed brace. It is a Flexible brace so it is not as stiff as I was hoping for but still works great. I use if for unloading freight trucks. I have a 29.5" waist with a flat stomach but ordered a size SMALL. The brace is still plenty big enough with still 5 inches of overlap, even though i ordered the smaller size. The brace is plenty tall for a 5'4" person and comes all the way up to my rib cage. It also has velcro on the back side of one of the straps in case they overlap. 5and the flexible mesh makes it very comfortable. Beware if you've got high blood pressureI've used and abused this thing for months now, often working with big, energetic horses, and it hasn't let me down. However,I can see it being a bit uncomfortable for people with shorter torsos, because it has more height than many back belts. Other than that, the support is superb, and the flexible mesh makes it very comfortable. Beware if you've got high blood pressure. The flexible material makes it really tempting to overly tighten and fit too snug on the abdomen. I don't want any fellow Amazonians getting aortic dissection because of a back brace. 5Best brace I have used.Best brace I have used . It fits well , very comfortable and does not roll as others I have had. I have severe spinal stenosis in my lower 5 vertebra . I wear it every morning for 30-60 minutes and it relieves my back pain. Relief usually lasts all day. 5
