Customer Reviews

I would not recommend, either because you can purchase it elsewhere at ...For those of you who read these reviews, let me explain how I operate. If a product I purchased exceed my expectations it gets 5 stars. If the product is as described by amazon, with NO exceptions, it gets 4 stars. Also, note that any product I purchase a second time is at a minimum 4star+. Any purchase I fail to review, I would not recommend, either because you can purchase it elsewhere at or below Amazons price. I have repurchase this item! 5Very good productI have been wearing the gell cusion for my left foot for only 4 days and the discomfort I was in had dropped drastically. I have a bunion that has shifted my weight incorrctly when walking and as such the ball of my foot takes more stress than it should. In time it builds up to unbearable pain when I get off work. I hobble at times from the discomfort and try hand massaging that foot area but it was so tender I could't do that for long. I used this product for 4 days, even in stocking feet around the house and I also bought the socks that have the toe separators in them and between the combination my foot pain barily exists. They hold to the foot very well and I have not had any shifting issues with it. It is not too thick or too thin and seem to do the trick. Wished I had known of these before instead of enduring such discomfort for so long. If you have metatarsil foot pain, these are well worth the money.... 5Heaven sent! These are wonderful for reducing pain and pressure. They are easy to place and remove. Just wash them after each use with mild soap and the adhesive is reactivated and sticks great every time; I've been using them for a couple months. I will ALWAYS buy these and have them on hand. I ballroom dance and these help foot pain. Great for every day too. I wear a size 9.5 shoe and they do not show when wearing with strappy sandals and high heels. 5Calluses and Morton's NeuromaAfter reading one of the other reviews, I purchased two of these from Amazon and one from Carol Wright Gifts. I was worried about the Amazon ones not sticking that well, but I ordered some anyway since Amazon now offers them as add-on items, which means the two-day shipping is free to Prime members, making them a lot cheaper than they are at Carol Wright or Footsmart. I received the Amazon ones about a week and a half ago but am still waiting for the ones from CWG.I use these to cover a callus on the ball of each foot, but I'm hoping they will also help the Morton's neuroma in my right foot. Because of the Morton's, I now have to buy bigger shoes, which allows my socks to bunch up under my feet, worsening these calluses. So far, I haven't had any more pain in either foot, either from the calluses or from the Morton's. And I haven't felt the numbness in my toes lately either. I think they help splay my toes out, and that relieves the Morton's (I have a minor case in the early stages, though). They are definitely relieving my calluses so that I can take walks again, something I've been avoiding because of the pain. They seem to stick to my feet fine. When I first put them on, I thought I'd have problems because the very front edge kind of peeled up where my foot curves toward the toes. But I held it down for a few seconds then put my socks and shoes on without any problem. They didn't peel off or slide at all during the day. I have used moleskin over the callus on my right foot, but it always slid to the side of my foot so that by the end of the day, the edge of it was right on the callus, which made my callus hurt worse. As the other review stated, I rinse them in cold water every time I use them, and that seems to both clean off any sock lint and revitalize the adhesive. They always stick better after they've been rinsed and left to dry.My main concern is getting athlete's foot because they don't really breathe. I don't know if this could be a potential problem or not, so I'm airing out my feet and changing cushions when I go home everyday at lunch just to be safe. 4Foot Cushions DRI severely sprained my ankle and after the initial healing my middle toes started to bother me. It felt like they were being pushed forward and were hitting the front of my shoes. I had pain along my toes to the middle of my foot.I finally went to the doctor and he ruled out a fracture. He explained that in the same way your arches can fall so can the natural arch formed between the joints of your toes. He recommended insoles with a metatarsal pad built in.I ordered these but couldn't wait for them to arrive so I made one with silicon. I squirted a blob on a piece of plastic bag, laid another piece on top and stepped on it lightly to let it take the form of my foot's metatarsal area. Then I let it dry. This silicon pad worked. Placing it in the right location was the key. It gave me relief right away and my foot started to improve. The real pads arrived and they are a bit softer gel. One side has a surface that stays sticky so it adheres to the foot better, too. Again, the key is placing it in just the right place then you put your sock on without allowing it to shift. With a shoe on it stays in place all day without shifting. The real pads are softer then my homemade jobs and stay in place better but they are way over priced. I'm sure they only cost pennies to make and ship. If you are not sure these are what you need try making your own first, with a blob of silicon.15/09/12I used this Gel Cell for quite a few months and experienced relief. The trick is placing it on the sweet spot, which is lower then in the picture. However, I found something that may have cured me! I bought a pair Crocs style shoes at a department store but they have massage soles - like these: http://www.amazon.com/adidas-Santiossage-Slide-Black-Running/dp/B0007PNAHS/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1347754901&sr=8-5&keywords=massage+sandalsThey hurt my feet the first day and a half but then I noticed a change. Its like they restored circulation to where it was needed. Now I keep a pair by my bed to put on when I first get up. They take that swollen feeling away after a few steps. It also helps to walk heal - toe. Sometimes I just put them on and walk around heal - toe as a sort of therapy. I'm not totally cured yet but I feel 90% better. I still use the Gel Cell with certain footwear under certain conditions but I haven't experienced real bad metatarsalgia discomfort since I started using the massage soles. 4Sticks to bottom of foot with great force. Was trying to replace Gel pads that you moisten and then place on bottom of foot. Could no longer find them on line, so I tried these; they looked similar. In one way, these are much better--you don't have to moisten before applying, and they really, really stick. (You wash them after removing them from your foot--then let them air dry overnight.) But they stick so well that if you touch the sticky side to anything (like your finger), you will feel like you are fighting a piece of extra strong duct tape. Once they are on the sole of your feet, they work well. Soft and comfortable. Because they are expensive, I hope they last a long time. If they do, then 5 stars! 4Can't Live Without TheseI thought my days of wearing high heels were over because of ball of foot pain (metatarsal). Thanks to these cushions, I wear whatever shoe I want agin. I keep a steady supply on hand. They last a long time (you just rinse them with water to reactivate the adhesive), but they do get dirty-looking after awhile. If you have metatarsal pain, don't hesitate to buy these. They work better than any you find in the drugstores. 5They stay in place pretty well when wearing socksI use these as metatarsal padss so they are placed about an inch lower on the foot. They stay in place pretty well when wearing socks. I even use them when wearing slippers at home. They work well in my running shoes (placed on the insole of the shoe rather than my foot - due to sweat). I have rinsed/washed & reused many, many times & they still work great! They have really helped with my foot pain. 5Thick and not soft enoughThese are too thick and uncomfortable for me. I used to order a similar product from Footsmart, but they are no longer in business. I'm looking for another source. This looks about the same, and it does stick easily, but they don't work for me. They might for someone else. 3Where have you been all my lifePro -- This little Gel Callus Cushion works great. I have ball of foot pain for wearing some awesome high heels. All you do is stick this little gel on the bottom of your foot and it stays all day. Also works really great while working out under sneakers. Love this little cushion.Con --- It took forever to receive this order. FootSmart needs to be smarter in their delivery process. They federal expressed to the post office and the post office held the package for almost 9 days. The package was delivered a neighboring post office then shipped to NJ then back to my post office and then into Boston and back again... I wrote Footsmart on several occassion and they sent the same explanation, Please wait 10 working days for delivery.... Love the product, hated the delivery choices. 5
