Too heavy. 2Four StarsWorks well, and is much quieter than most such devices I have owned. 4Decent, about 75% as strong as the old Homedics percussion massagersThis is decent if you cannot find the old stronger Homedics percussive version (I'd say it's 75% as strong, with less percussion). I am a fairly muscular guy and I like really HARD deeper massages, but this may unit may be fine for most people. I had the old superstrong Homedics for years but Homedics also dialed them down in strength. The size of this compares just about to the old Homedics PA-1, and it gives a decent massage. Just not the super deep strong one the old Homedics do. You can still find old used units. But as far as what's new and out there, and bang for your buck, this is alright.
