WONDER BRACE TO THE RESCUE!!!Not sure what happens to my knee, I stepped off my front step and felt a sharp pain under my kneecap and then later it started to swell 2 days later it was crackling I needed something to get me by until I can get to a specialist to diagnose the issue. The moment I put it on I felt relief I don't know about longevity but as of now it is a wonder brace! I'm 5'10 170lbs. And got a small it's snug,I wanted it that way. See chart below for your size hope it helps. 5Too Bad! BIG Disappointment!I read the reviews before I bought: order a size larger, great for Summer / Outdoor heat. I couldn't wait for this to arrive!I couldn't get this over my knee. I tugged and tugged and it's on there but the fit is off. The calf seems to be too large and the thigh too small. The kneecap buttress /support is no where near the bottom of my kneecap even tho the side bars are positioned okay. I can't pull it up any further and yet it feels like it is going to slip down.Picture this: a Pepsi bottle sleeve trying to fit a Cola bottle -- loose in the wrong places.I'm really disappointed and it is going back.Looks like the best thing to do is to go to a medical supply place in person and try before you buy. 1Supports my patella for running and soccerSoccer player. Patellar tendonitis. Great support - keeps me running when I might otherwise fall down. Size small fits 5'6" / 120-130 lb. Was a little tight at first but loosened up just enough, but not too much. Holding its shape. Range of motion is good enough. Survives the wash with hinges in when using a washing bag but the metal hinge will eventually break through the fabric covering. I now have an xl fabric knee sleeve that I wear over the top to protect the brace from all the wear and tear. I bought another to have as back up. This is very good quality and about as low profile as you can get for a hinged brace. 5Even Small too bigI got this for knee support for my adult slim legs (small bones). The small was still too big and so the fasteners pulled as tight as possible had fabric bunched up, making it very uncomfortable. I returned it. May work on larger legs. 1A very good quality bracemy knees started dislocating when I was twelve, I had surgery on one of my knees when I was fifteen and the other one hasn't required surgery but is still pretty unstable at times. I wear these braces on both knees and it makes a huge difference. Ive tried quite a few different braces and this brand is the best from what I can tell. What I like about these braces is that I can wear them for long periods of time without discomfort. Sometimes I sleep in them but when I do that too much my skin gets a little irritated. The only times i dont wear it is when i shower, sleep or do physical therapy exercises, if you don't sleep with it on you shouldn't have any issues with wearing it every day. These braces are a lifesaver for someone with unstable knees. 5Highly RecommendAfter eleven knee surgeries I did it again! This time I tore my meniscus and got this brace for support until surgery. Great support and breaths very well. Sitting in the sun all Memorial Day weekend at my kid's soccer tournament with no sweat under the brace whatsoever. The only issue I have is that it does tend to slip down a little and needs to be pulled up every now and then. I wouldn't recommend it if you have major instability but for my purposes it is lightweight, comfortable, supportive and well priced. Definitely the best brace of all those I've ever used over the years. An excellent value. 5Bionic KneesI am 45 and train capoeira, a Brazilian martial art that requires a lot of deep knee squatting, lunging, and acrobatic movement. Before I began training 2 years ago, I had fractured my tibia and since then it occasionally pops when I am doing any lateral knee movement. My right knee from compensating for for left for so long also became unstable and I strained my PCL recently. I have been looking for a knee brace that is flexible, comfortable, will not slide, and provide significant support. This is it. I call them my bionic knees because I feel so much safer when I play (spar) I feel like a new woman. I was also able to fit them under compression tights although I generally wear them under looser fitting uniform pants.I only wear them when I train (3x/ week) and I try not to brace my knees for other activities like running and power yoga. Plus, I have only had them for a couple weeks so I can not speak to durability. But, when they wear out, I will without hesitation buy more. 5Knee Brace fine amazon not so greatThe Mueller knee brace is fine. It does the job it is supposed to do. This is my second one the first one lasted for about 5 years. With every day use. But amazon service is not so great. I ordered a medium sized brace the first time and it didn't fit. Asked if I could return it and I was told that it was a non returnable item. So I had to pay for another one that would fit. So be sure to get the right size the first time. 4Extremely comfortable brace. Ive been wearing it for 2 months ...Extremely comfortable brace. Ive been wearing it for 2 months daily due to a meniscus tear. But it does not actually support as much as an injury like mine requires. Its honestly so comfortable that i think it sacrifices the support required. For all other purposes though its great. Its also very sleek and fits inside slacks quite well incase you need it for work. If you calves are small u may want to think a bit over it because u may indeed have the brace slip down a bit. 4It works.I choose to wear a brace as a precaution during exercise, having had knee surgery many years ago. Overall, I'm happy with this brace and would order it again. I've used it consistently for two months now. It offers adequate support for running and metabolic training, reduces pain, and has improved my stability and confidence. It fits well on my average-sized leg and doesn't slip. I've had no issues with odor, but I do wash it every weekend in a washing machine. It dries quickly on a rack. 5
