Customer Reviews

Helps me catch all my zzz'sThese puppies help a man slep at night when I have a night shift nurse keeping me up all night with whatever she's doing. cant hear a thing! they are very comphy and they stay in till morning. i found these to be better than the brands in store for this reason. They are not as "airy" as some other foam brands. These are more dense, softer, and smaller. They go right in and stay in. Not too long either where u might push them in too far. They only con I'd ay about them is that they can be a little weird to take out after a while. The foam matrix is not so "airy" as I call it. So they sometimes get "sticky" in a way, it's kind of a shock to the ear cancel if I just rip them out of the ear after a while. A little twist fixes that. I pull them out slowly as before I could just rip the other brands right out. But to me, this is okay sunce they stay in and I get a great nights sleep! 5These are Fakes - beware!!These are not real Howard Leight ear plugs! They are sad, gross knockoff imitations. Buyer beware, these are not returnable through Amazon!! The quality is terrible, they are not the same type of foam as HL, and the sizing is inconsistent. Plus the ones I got look dirty! DO NOT BUY THESE FROM THIS SELLER, YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! Buy from Howard Leight directly to ensure you are getting the right product. Real Howard Leights are labeled as such - these are not. I'm so disappointed. Sometimes the convenience of Amazon prime shipping is actually a detriment; it incentivizes you to buy impulsively and then you're left holding a bag of crap. Never again. 1Comfortable and work with a wide range of noisesThis is my second order of these. I ordered them for my son who's bedroom is next to one of our hall bathrooms and his sister's room. My daughter is in college and also works as an assistant manager at a restaurant. Needless to say, her coming in late and or leaving really early creates noise. So does her dog. :) I won't go into the bathroom details, but a lot of noise happens in that part of the house. My son works varied hours and is a light sleeper with sonic hearing. These ear plugs have saved his sanity! For him, these block out or muffle stereo shower music, high pitched dog whining, blow dryers, doors opening-closing, the garbage truck at 6:30 am and my husband's snoring when they go backpacking and camping. These are comfortable, form to fit in his ears and last a long time! One pack will last him almost a year. Well worth the money! He's very happy with these, so I'm happy to order them again. 5Best brand I've tried! These are the best brand of ear plugs I've used! I've tried a couple different styles within this brand and they've all been great. Chose the style depending on your preference and you will love them! I think these ones are a bit slimmer, so, if you have smaller ear canals these ones are comfortable. They're slimmer but they still block out lots of sound. I mean, I can easily over sleep when I wear these because I just get so relaxed! I add anew eye mask and feel like I'm a little caterpillar in a cocoon! Haha! I definitely wake up feeling like a beautiful well rested butterfly!Another reason I really like this brand is because of the packaging that it comes in. They all come in individually wrapped pairs and I really love that. It's super hygienic, makes them easy to travel with, easy to store away and keep organized.I'm going to stick with this brand. They're comfortable, come in great packaging, and they do the trick of blocking out the sounds you don't want to hear! 5best earplugsThe shape of these is the best. The wings make it so much easier for them to not come out of your ears. I am skilled at putting earplugs in (I am a light sleeper, my boyfriend snores, I used to live in the city next to a busy street, and omg overhead neighbors in apartment buildings) and this is the only shape of earplug (I got a sample of these with a sleep mask) that is consistently good at staying in my ear because of the wings. These are also nice and soft (squishy). I feel less like these are completely damaging my ear canal after I wear them all night. I don't recommend wearing them EVERY night long term, but they do the job on airplanes and for that occasional night when you really need help escaping noises keeping you awake. These come individually wrapped in a big bag of 50 pairs. I ordered these 9 months ago and still have plenty, having worn some only once and lost them, having given plenty of pairs to my boyfriend, etc. I do rewear them until they get too waxy (and inevitably covered in dust/hair) and throw them away and just start a new pair. The only way these can be improved is if the individual packaging for each was resealable (tiny ziplocks) because I try to tuck them back in their opened plastic bag after I wear them to keep them from getting dirty too quickly, but they easily fall out. 5great for sleepingThis is the second (or third?) time we've repurchased these ear plugs. They're very soft, squishy and comfortable for sleeping, even for me (my ear canal is smaller than my husband's, and most ear plugs are uncomfortable for me). They block more than enough noise for sleep, though I can't speak to how well they would work for ear protection when it comes to safety issues. Highly recommended.(This product was a personal purchase for myself at a price available to the public. I am under no obligation to leave a review, and am doing so solely because I want to share my experience with other potential customers. I have received no compensation for my review nor do I have any relationship with the seller or manufacturer of this product.) 5Soft and comfy for smaller ears. Don't hurt ear canal.I use these at night so I can sleep through my husband's snoring. They are very soft on the ear canal. Other types have made my ears very sore. They are a little on the long side, they stick out of my ears and come out when I turn over and my ears slide over the pillow.Since I only use them at home, I do not like that each pair is wrapped individually. I would rather not fight with a little plastic bag in the middle of the night and I always prefer less plastic. All in all, I would definitely recommend these as compared to the many other earplugs I have used over the years. 4Great for college students and light sleepersI'm a college student living with two roommates, and two housemates in a another room. Two of my roommates can be very inconsiderate with noise levels, while studying or sleeping. I bought these when I saw that my work place gave them out to students to take exams. I was never really a light sleeper when I was living at home, but being in a college student has made my sleeping a lot worse.I like these a lot. They're comfortable and don't make my ears sore. I use them by rolling the end that goes into my ear for a long time, condensing it, then sticking it in my ear. I hold the big end (the stopper?) in place while it expands, and I find that this helps with keeping the ear plug in. I actually get multiple uses out of them instead of throwing them away after just one use. When they're a fresh pair, they block out a lot of noise, such as the traffic outside my apartment, water from the shower, chatter outside my room, and general noises when people move around. They usually stay in my ears all night, despite my constant moving around. After multiple uses, they don't stay in as well and therefore don't block out noise as efficiently, but it's still sufficient for me. I find that it also helps with studying, if you're someone who hates noise while studying. 5Poor quality controlAs you can see from the photo, there can be a big difference in sizes and corresponding pain in your ear if you are sensitive.I ordered these three times. The first two times were in 2015, from the sellers BHP SAFETY PRODUCTS and SML SAFETY, and these were hands-down the best earplugs for those of us with sensitive ear canals. I loved them, and they came as individually wrapped and sealed pairs from both sellers. The most recent order was in early May, 2019, from seller Tool Deals, and this time all the earplugs came jumbled all together a ziploc bag. And these earplugs hurt.I don't know if these are seconds or are mis-processed, but I wouldn't order from the seller Tool Deals again, unfortunately. I'm going to try these in hopes for the individual bags: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000RMFGGY/ 2Best earplugs money can buy.Best earplugs money can buy. I have to wear earplugs daily for commuting on my motorcycle, and on an extended trip up to Alaska I realized the basic run-of-the-mill foam earplugs just were not cutting it - they hurt my ears and head, and one of my ear canals is apparently somewhat larger than the other and no matter how I tried I just couldn't get a good reduction in noise. Oh, and not to mention that I'd wind up jabbing what felt like my eardrum with the hard foam ones. But these earplugs? Wow! Game changers. A guy I met on my trip to Alaska had a few that he was using for riding with and gave me a pair since I was complaining about mine. Saved. My. Head.Seriously - if you find you have to wear earplugs regularly and want something comfortable and effective, look no further. 5
