Didn't work for a heavy man walking to lose weight.I usually alternate my shoes since I put in 10-15 miles a day at 240lbs. I wore these 3 days since I got them and my feet have begun to hurt. The way the channels run from side to side under the pads of the toes with the holes punched through the thinner material made my feet feel like they were being forced through a cheese grater. Took them out of my shoes. 1Great SupportI'm a CNA and work double shifts and these insoles have made all the difference. These let me work a good 14 hours before my feet start hurting, then I switch shoes. Have also helped to relive lower back pain that comes from being on your feet all day. For anyone working 12+ hours I suggest shoes that are 1/2 to two sizes up for maximum comfort. The insoles are thick and will smush your toes if you wear them with your regular size. 4OKComfort was nice, but are so thick they pressed my foot painfully into the tops of my work boots. The trade off of pain didn't work for me, but I may try them in my looser muck boots. 3AmazingBest soles for the average guy. I would buy a set of these for every shoe if I could. 5Got another pair for other shoesI've had these insoles for about a year in a pair of dress shoes and they've been working great. I needed insoles for another pair of dress shoes so I went right back to this product and bought them again. They have great heel support, have been comfortable for over a year in my first pair of shoes and are still going strong. The only thing that's different than the picture are that there are actual ventilation holes near the front of the insoles, by the balls of your feet and toes area. The pictures show where the holes will be but don't actually show the holes all the way through. I don't think it makes it uncomfortable and it does help it to breathe. I would buy this product again for another pair of shoes when I need them! 5Very comfortablePut these insoles into my winter hiking boots and they feel very comfortable. My boot size is 11.5 and I didn't need to trim them at all. I'm 280 LBS and needed something to help my feet feel less tired by days end and these did the trick. In my opinion they are comparable to more expensive Dr. Scholls. Going to order a few more for my other boots. Only gave it 4 stars because I don't know how long they will last but I'll update my review accordingly.Update: 4/23/2014, These insoles have been used daily, since January of this year, in my Merrell Hiking Boots. I weigh close to 275 pounds with a size 11.5M foot, just to give you an idea as to the type of beating these insoles take everyday. I pulled them out to store away my boots for the season and was very happy to see that they have held up perfectly. They have plenty of cushion remaining. As a matter of fact, I was going to purchase another pair for my new Summer Sneakers but will use these instead. Great product! 5Made a DifferenceSo I work as a Stocker and am on my feet for a number of hours carrying and hauling varying loads and boxes around. After getting the job my feet were killing me and I knew I needed either new shoes or some insoles. Insoles are way cheaper so I browsed and found the ones with the best customer ratings. I knew I had to do something soon as I was approaching a 6 day straight work week and my feet would but absolutely done.When I received them they seemed very generic, I've never used insoles before but placing them in my DCs were a small hassle. No big deal, cut the lines to 11 which fit my shoes perfectly, then shove them in as far as I could without them touching the bottom so they wouldn't catch.When I first put on my shoes they definitely felt a bit more floaty. Couldn't tell much of a difference immediately, front of my foot is tighter and even after tightening the laces the rear is still a bit loose. First couple of days my feet hurt while working so I thought these were useless, but at home my feet no longer hurt so they were at least doing something. I don't know if these are good or bad compared to other types but these at least keep my feet from hurting at home and have reduced pain while working by a bit, they still hurt a little though which is fine.Wasn't sure how to rate them as I would like to compare them to other models but I definitely couldn't work without these now. 5Excellent cushioning but thin enough to fit wellThese are the best insoles I have found in a long time and I use them in several pairs of hiking and work boots. If you wear a men's size 9 or smaller shoe, it would be better to buy the women's size so you only have to trim a little or none for them to fit. 5Immediate Change!I felt a change almost immediately! I had a hard time finding a good part of insoles for work, Dr Scholls was a go to but it wasn't working for me I work 8+ hours at my job and I would come home in pain. But with these jobsite insoles I feel no pressure on my feet and I stand on hard concrete floors! Best purchase I've made definitely worth it 5NiceMake work easy working on your feet 5
