Customer Reviews

Some are fine, but some are too bigI ordered 7 pairs of these, all same size & type. Some are fine, but some are too big. So big, they do not stay up. They are not all the same shade either. The lack of consistency is disappointing. Will not order again. 2Great product!Great product! So much easier to get on than my other support hose. Easier to take care of too. Recommend the Jobst Compression Stocking Donning Gloves to help put hose on and off. 5Bad Luck?I recently bought these stockings. I wore them comfortably for two days. On the third day I was ready to wash them for the first time.To my surprise and disappointment, I found a hole on the heel in one stocking. Now my new open toe stockings are also open heel. 1Identical to my hospital compression socksI was skeptical to purchase the Jobst open toe compression sock, after reading reviews that they can leave your toes to swell. These socks have surpassed my expectations. I work 12hr shifts as a nurse and suffer from lymphedema due to a surgical procedure. These socks keep my legs pain free after a long day. They feel just as effective as the compression socks I received from the hospital. The material is thicker and strong, yet very breathable. They can be tricky to put on but if you turn them inside out it is much easier! The band at the top of the sock stays put throughout the entire day. They are true to size. I wear a size 7.5 shoe and measurements fall into the small sock size chart. Fit just as expected. Make sure to hang dry. I will definitely be purchasing more from Jobst! 5not comfortableI had worn Jobst compression knee highs for years to deal with daily swelling resulting from an accident many years ago. Even though they were helpful with reducing the swelling - the top would roll down (pool) and cut into my skin just below my knee at the top of my calf. When I wanted to try the open toe variety - i went to Jobst. The measurements identified that I needed the large size and I hoped that would solve the problem. They were too big and resulted in the same problem - pooling at the top of my calf and cutting into the skin. I returned them and got the medium. Even though those fit - (I could not wear a smaller size) they also pool at the top of my calf uncomfortably. They do not roll down - just pool at the top of my calf. Even though I really like the open toe variety - I rarely wear them because they are so uncomfortable because of the pooling. 2These are amazing if your legs swellI have had edema for years and these are the only compression stockings I will buy. They are the highest quality and really do a good job of squeezing that awful fluid from your ankles and calves, They are expensive but definitely worth it. I've tried less expensive brands but they are not as effective or comfortable. I use the toeless more that the full covered ones as they do tend to squish the toes a bit. 5Feel great, but long. These feel really good, the problem is that they are too long. The thin part at the top has to be folded down and adds more pressure to the fat portion of my calf. I'm bummed because they do help my legs, but I can't wear them all day like I want to because of this problem. 4See a doctor first!Always get correctly fitted by a vascular doctor/nurse before ordering compression legware. You can do more damage than good by ordering too much or too little compression. It is important to get the proper measurements (ankle/calf) for the sizing. 4Does the jobI have lymphedema in my right lower leg due to skin cancer and have to wear a compression sock every day. But during the summer, I need something that I can wear sandals with due to this ridiculus Texas heat. I've tried 5 different brands of open toe compression and JOBST are the best. The graduated compression is done right and the band at the top is nice and wide and doesn't pinch or bind. Also the ankle area does not bind at all. Many of the other brands are either too tight at the top or they bind the ankle area causing circulation issues. I will definitely make this my go to open toe brand for compression. 5Not HappyAs you can see, it's like I got three different pairs. I love this product, I have never been unhappy with this product. It's like I was given irregular bad stockings. I contacted Jobst because I thought DHS Med said no returns in their listing. Jobst back and forth, shared the pics, told me to exchange through seller as they are guaranteed. We'll see. Currently I am wearing a cast, so they have been waiting for me to deal with this inadequate completely unacceptable quality. 1
