opinion of Kaged Muscle L-Citruline PowderBeen lifting for the past 30yrs. age 67yrs. old, mostly power lifting, weight 207lbs. and 5'9". This is my opinion and only my opinion. I am clean, no steroids, abnormally strong due to genetics, hold 1 lifting record, have used many products for the past 10yrs. and this product has no effect on me at all. I do eat healthy, everything in moderation and can say this product to me was a waste of money. I am very aware of what my body needs and works for my lifts. Can tell you that creatine will make my lifts gains by 20%, may seem a lot but have to weight the pros and cons of it. Creatine is not a healthy product to take and causes many issues in your body if you know it or not. I get tested, blood every year or so and know to stay away from many products that I used in the past. 1This stuff is awesome!!This stuff is awesome!!! For the price you can't go wrong, and you get plenty of servings for the price. I waited a good 3 weeks before reviewing this product experimenting with different doses. I love this product. I love it because you get the ingredient L Citrulline and at a fair price, it beats out other nitric oxide supplements in the same price range and you get more for your money, and its made in the USA so I love knowing my money goes to people in my own country and I am supporting a product that is fair in price and quality/quantity. The taste is actually "Unflavored" and I LOVE that!!! Most products like my BCAA's I bought from other companies that say "unflavored" are horrible and taste like yeasty baby powder. When this says unflavored it really means it, you cannot taste anything and its not a pain to taste this stuff, its like you are tasting nothing.I personally bought this for the blood flow and a decent pump, I knew this is not the best product for a pump, that is not the point, the point was to get the ingredient for blood flow and for a decent pump, and for a fair price. Its obviously not going to beat other pump products that have multiple ingredients, but that is not the purpose of this product, it is ment to have this one ingredient at a fair and affordable price.I am happy with it, I have been taking a bare minimum of 2 grams per day even when I am not working out.Its hard to pin down the best dosage for me, but I would say 4-8 Grams is the sweet spot, I did not notice anything more amazing by taking 10 grams, and I did not notice a super good pump at 2 grams.I noticed the same pump when I am taking around 4 to 6 grams, probably leaning more around the 5-6 grams range. I would personally take around 6 on like a bicep day.Not to say I didn't notice anything at a lower dosage but I feel like I can feel the pump in my biceps when I get around the 4-6 gram range, at 2 grams I don't notice anything that decent, its just a small pump that you can probably notice that is not due to simply working out.So I would definitely buy this again, I don't need a massive pump, if I did I would be spending $30 all the time for low servings, what I love about this is that you get alot of servings for a low price, and at around 4-6 grams for me, you get a decent enough pump that makes you want to keep lifting and the price justifies the decent pump that may not be the best, its not suppose to be at this price.I just wanted a decent pump and the blood flow to help get the blood pumping in my muscles. I support this product, its probably the BEST deal out of all supplements I have bought and the best bang for your buck besides a creatine product. This will be a staple in my workouts for now on and assuming the price stays the same I would buy this again when I need to. 5Works well alone or in combination with other supps.I take 3 servings a day, 1 at lunchtime, 1 perworkout and 1 post workout. It seems to give me amazing pumps, and less fatigue than I would normally experience. I believe it works well but you have to stay hydrated. Taking this with creatine is a must do. Only issue is that the serving size is a little small and compared to others I might be able to save some $ for a larger size but relatively similar price diff brand. 5Very high quality product with only a few minor complaints:I have purchased L-Citrulline from two different brands now: NOW brand and this brand (Kaged Muscle).The L-Citrulline from this brand tastes way cleaner and purer compared to the NOW brand. However, the price is also about twice as much. But I feel like it is worth it since this brand is made in the USA, unlike NOW which is made in China. Also Kaged Muscle uses fermented L-Citrulline instead of synthetic L-Citrulline, which could be why the smell and taste is way cleaner and fresher compared to NOW's version.My major gripes are the sizing options (there are essentially none, only one size) and the price. I am willing to ignore the price since Kaged Muscle essentially has a monopoly on American-made fermented L-Citrulline.. I can't find any competitors offering the same thing. So Kaged is able to charge as much as they want since if you want American-made L-Citrulline, this is the only place you can get it, unfortunately.But the sizing options are unacceptable. The only size is 100 "servings" (which is actually 33 servings since the recommended amount to take is 6g as per all the scientific studies), whereas Kaged Muscle lists 2g as a serving, meaning you have to take 3 of them for the full effect. I wouldn't mind this as much if it came in a 200 "serving" option, but unfortunately it doesn't, meaning I have to re-order it every single month, which I don't appreciate.Also I hate the packaging; it looks like something a man who is very insecure in his masculinity would gravitate towards. But that is very petty, and I'm not going to take off points for ugly packaging because honestly who cares. 5Quality issue.Product seems to be changing. Has a smell now and also tastes more like arginine. Have been using this brand for sometime. Use to be really good with no smell or taste when mixed with water. 2Why did I just find out about this?!This stuff is the magic potion I have been looking for! I train 5-6 days a week for racing triathlons anywhere from 1.5-3 hrs a day and I usually always will be doing at least two disciplines (swim/bike/run) every day along with strength training. When I heard about this supplement from a guy at the gym I didn t believe him but since I tried it I will never not use it. I probably use it differently than most, but I take it pre-workout and notice a little difference, not much, but the main time I use it is before bed. After I train and then work full-time I come home and drink a scoop with water before bed and I don t wake-up sore! I couldn t believe it the first time I tried it and now use it every night. 5Increase circulationI bought because citrulline is the only thing doctor recommended for ED which my husband developed from heart and bp meds following a heart attack. This product has proved helpful in that area. Kudos 5I love the L-CitrullineI love the L-Citrulline! It gives the best pump and you actually get the full 6g. When you compare this to the Citrulline Malate (which is what other brands use). 6g of Citrulline Malate is 3g of actual Citrulline. This is the best L-Citrulline on the market :). 5Best L-Citrulline I ve usedGreat L-Citrulline supplement, increases oxygen and blood dilation while decreasing ammonia. The unflavored variety makes it easy to throw in with a preworkout or BCAA s. Heads up, don t add to preworkout if you use an RTD like Babg or GNC s Lit in the can. It will erupt like a baking soda volcano. Lastly, consider Citrulline Malate too. It s bonded to malic acid, giving it a very sour taste, but increasing energy production in the TCA cycle. In summation, this gives great pumps! 5The real dealFirst I'm not a doctor and you should consult your doctor before using any supplements. Ok remember that everyone is different, but for me my blood pressure is usually 130ish/90ish on 3 meds. Now 125ish/85ish after one month. I take 1 scoop in the morning one at night in water. Notice more energy and seems to clam me down. Again the energy and the relaxed mood one could say is in your head but the blood pressure is fact. I never write reviews but read them and this product so far is the real deal!!!! 5
