Comfortable with needed toe separation, but stretch quickly This PolyGel toe spreader is very comfortable and aligns the toe well. I am wearing the loop on my 4th toe to provide separation between the 4th and 5th toes. I ordered Small/medium and wear a size 7 shoe. After two happy weeks of continuous wear, the loop has stretched and the spreaders occasionally slip out of position if I am barefoot or wearing sandals. Disappointed that these super-comfy spreaders will not last as long as I had expected, but I will continue to wear them with socks and shoes. 3Disappointed It was comfortable and easy to use and clean. I must be sensitive to the material because my toe that was wrapped turned red and itchy the next morning. Was itchy for days. 2Very comfortable, stays put, easy to put on and take off. Love them! I've only been using them for 5 days now, but the pain in the ball of my feet is getting much better each day. I was kinda hoping that wearing them would eventually straighten out my bunion, but even if it doesn't the reduction is pain is well worth it. I have wide feet so I was worried that I would not be able to wear with with shoes, but so far I've worn them with my walking shoes, sandals, and boots with no problem. 5Better than Surgery This product is great for helping my tailor s bunion. I ordered the smallest size and the next size up. The slightly bigger one helps align my pinky toe better. It is really helping me! My foot used to hurt when I walk on my wood floors but not after wearing this separator. I wear it whenever I am at home. I had a successful tailor s bunion removal on my right foot but do not want to go through the pain and recovery again. 5Finally, I found the right one! I've been trying every form factor of these silicone foot appliances for the last several years. This one works the best for me. I'm a runner with big feet. The fact that I could get this in a larger size was really great. And these stay in place without cutting off circulation. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the drawer full of rejects. 5Soft, comfortable, effective Surprised by how comfortable these are. I can be fussy about such things, but I tend to forget these are on my feet. Very soft, and I don't find the gel material irritating. It is summer and I have been wearing these barefoot around the house and at night as I sleep. I have not tried them yet with socks or shoes, but I think they would work if the toe-box of the shoe is not too narrow. I have bought a second set so I always have a clean pair.They are soft and stretchy, and I can see where they could tear if one is not careful taking them off. I try not to pull too much when I remove them. So far, so good!And, yes, my toes seem to be "getting the hint", and are not creeping up on each other so much! Happy feet! 5Gel Toe Spreaders -- UPDATE I wear a woman's size 7 but found that, even though the loop stretches a lot, a small/medium was too tight on my 2nd toe, so I'm getting ready to reorder them in a large/x-large. However, I don't wear them with shoes (I wear them when sleeping) and prefer a looser fit. Someone planning to wear them with shoes may prefer the smaller size. I do like the nice soft gel, and am otherwise happy with them, so I'm giving them 4 stars.UPDATE: I reordered these in a large/x-large. The loop was looser and more comfortable on my 2nd toe, BUT the part that sits between the toes to hold them apart was far too big and pushed my toes apart in a way that was very uncomfortable. I tried trimming them down, which was doable because of the soft gel, but I just wasn't able to trim the part that was too large so that they worked for me. I found just what I wanted at myfootshop dot com, but I'm stuck with these 2 pair I can't wear, so I've dropped my rating to 3 stars.... 3Work for me. Everyone s issues are different. All I can say is that these work for me and I will order them again when needed. 5Tremendous relief for foot pain. I received my Toe Spreaders today, put them on and they work! I have bunions on both feet and a hammer toe. I've had difficulty wearing closed toe shoes during the winter months due to painful pressure on the hammer toe. The toe loop will effectively protect my hammer toe while keeping my great toes aligned. Not only that, I did a vigorous 30 minute walk fitness workout today, barefoot. The Toe Spreaders stayed put through side steps, kicks, stretches and more and I had no discomfort or pain afterward. I'm still wearing them comfortably this evening. What a great find! 5Try these. They may save you 100's of $ and maybe unnecessary surgery If you have "toe" problems or are afflicted with "Morton's neuroma" give these a try. They stay in place better than the ones without the toe loop. They are relatively cheap. Size range is limited. A little history: I started endurance running (marathon, 1/2 marathon) at age 60. Before my first marathon at age 61, my feet were killing me. I was diagnosed with "Morton's Neuroma". I visited orthopedic surgeon, podiatrists, world class trainers, read books, and spent 100's of dollars on custom shoes and computer generated shoe liners, without a cure. My wife bought me some of these. I'm now 70 and run without problems, as long as I'm wearing these spacers. 4
