It can work wonders.Started taking this in combination with some fish oil and L-Argenine for an injury I sustained in a car accident..I hadn't tried any of this stuff until recently.. mostly just stuck with the fish oil.. but this really has helped in the healing process.It just supplies some missing nutrients that your body needs to heal and just simply can't do without for some injuries. 5Wonderful supplementHave been taking these for several years and highly recommend. They are wonderful, I take them and so does my 23 lb cockapoo. She had bad hips at 1 year old (at adoption), after taking half a pill for several months her gait was back to normal. She s been on them for 8 years and her gait is wonderful.I was experiencing some joint stiffness and these pills helped a lot.If you have a shellfish sensitivity try them (also wheat, soy, dairy, etc free). 5Found out with gout any shellfish is bad so had to find something without itFound out with gout any shellfish is bad so had to find something without it. When I ran out of G C MSN I noticed in a few days and have been using for over a week and they seem to do the same job as the brands with shellfish. Like some of the other comments I read the pills are rather large. My Wife's calcium and my old brand were the same size with the only difference being the edges were a bit more rounded. So anyone who has issue with large pills may wish to tread lightly. Also taking them with milk or a heavy liquid helps as water is thin so provides little cushioning for the pills. I would buy again and did just order more today. 5Save your moneyLike most people that will consider buying shellfish free glucosamine condrointant you are always hoping to find one that actually works like the real stuff does (so we are told). Well this one is just like ghe others a waste of money. Sorry to say my shellfish allergic bro s and sisters if it aint the real stuff it s not going to work. I have tried about a dozen differen kinds and got the same results. My doctor and my rumatoid specialist both say the same thing. To bad for us but hey there is always aleave i guess 1Great product - not so great price.I am allergic to fish and shellfish and and thrilled that this product exists. I am a runner and this has allowed me to continue in my routine and take care of my knees! It's very expensive, so I don't take the full recommended amount of three tablets every day. I only take them on running days, but that has done the trick! I am convinced that these have successfully helped my stave off knee pain! I would probably increase my supplementation with this product if it was around the same price as the fishy products. 5Stomach issuesI've been taking these expensive pills for a few years and I still have a lot of arthritic issues, so now sure if helping or not. But in the past several months, I've become nauseous in the morning after breakfast, after taking my supplements. Also extreme constipation. (I'm 80% vegan). I eliminated my morning supplements one by one and realized that this is the culprit. Since stopping them, my digestive process is much better and no more morning sickness. 2took away my knee pain.Helped my knees stop hurting. Bought a bottle for a friend in her late 60's and she said the same thing...improved her knees. This isn't a pain killer so don't expect immediate results. It builds cartilage. But it did start working sooner than I had imagine it would. I thought it would take many weeks. I saw the improvement begin after only a couple of weeks. Life changing difference as in I could barely bend at the knee without pain. Now I rarely have any at all and can do shallow squats. 5This is amazingI could hardly walk, doctor recommended I try this before surgery, and it really works. No limping, just take two every day, and it will change your life, my knees were bone one bone, and I was in constatant pain, this is a product that actually helps, I highly recommend 5Fine product, pill too large3 stars, not because its not effective, but because there isn't a neutral no star rating just to leave feedback but my caution is these pills are LARGE and difficult to swallow..am a 55 year old healthy male that takes my share of supplements and vitamins and this is by far the largest pill I have in my inventory...as shellfish free GC is hard to come by, I had read another review that these were large but I've never had a problem taking any size pill so I purchased figuring they'd be fine...I was wrong...if I've taken 10 of them so far, I've choked on 5 and had to cough it up and try again and struggled with the rest...May be a great product but I recommend reducing pill size or I will need to look for another brand...regards..... 3Not vegetarian..only shellfish freeNOT LISTED AS VEGETARIAN! I have uric acid issues and my joints started hurting again with these. They are probably fine for normal people but if you have gout issues, these are probably not going to be good for you. I only typed in "Shellfish free" as opposed to vegetarian and now am paying for it. And these are not cheap!Again, these are probably awesome for someone without gout issues. 3
