Good design, not the best construction at the top. Generally a good product but the top wall mount piece that goes into the swiveling tube is a very sloppy fit and allows undesirable movement. Otherwise good fit and finish. They could easily do better. 3A Godsend I recently suffered from my kneecap going out of joint upon standing. Thus bar mounted in my bathroom makes getting up from the toilet a breeze. The articulated swivel provides multiple positions for use and was a snap to install. A perfect accesory for older members of the family or anyone suffering discomfort. 5Has a little wiggle It really does great for my grandmother.I used in a small bathroom, and based on stud location wasn't able to use the side bar. That sucks, but not their fault, it's just a small commode room off the master bath. However, even when locked, it has a little wiggle, about 3/4 of an inch either way. She has been fine with it. I just wish it didn't.Otherwise, great product. 4I called STANDER and they can't recommend how to installed it in steel studs or using ... Nowhere in the description of the item, box or instructions it ways that this product is ONLY for use in wood studs or that it ONLY has been tested in wood studs. I called STANDER and they can't recommend how to installed it in steel studs or using ADA approved drywall anchors. Most new homes use steel studs. I have them in both bathrooms and next to my bed, which is floor to ceiling. I would not be able to get in or out of bed without it! I have five! 5Easy to install & love that it pivots to help ... Ordered this for my 84 yr old mom to use in her bathroom. It is one of the most helpful items we have gotten for her. Easy to install & love that it pivots to help her get in & out of the shower. Would definitely recommend. 5Very sturdy, well made Very sturdy, well made. My husband needed me to help him hold it while he installed it, but otherwise, no problem. It has a locking mechanism so you can leave it flush against the wall or out at about a 30-45 degree angle, sorry, just estimating here. We installed in in the bathroom to help me get up and down from the seat. Works great.
